When the N8 launched it had a very nice looking analogue clock for the glance screen, but in the update to Nokia Belle it is gone. Is there a possibly to get that clock style back? One can only choose between a digital one and a rather boring analogue one. Sadly.

Got it yesterday in good condition but how can i change product code+update to Symbian Belle. I have CIS Version and i think FM Transmitter is not included. But i need this feature. My Product Code 0599773. The phone runs Symbian^3. And is it recommended to update to Symbian Belle?

Bozidar, 21 Jul 2018Hello,does anybody know how to upgrade N8 to Symbian Anna B... moreYou can update your phone to Anna or to Belle (not both). But I recommend to install (update to...) a CFW (custom firmware). There are lots you can try. For example, MAGNUS or DELIGHT.
Steps:
0 - Choose a CFW
1 - Install Nokia PC
2 - Download and install Phoenix

cpswamy, 18 May 2018No mobiles at present even Apple can match the camera of No... moreIncorrect. I was a huge Nokia large-sensor fanboy, plus I'm a photographer for a living. While the N8 was very good, it has now been surpassed by the latest generation of phones. This also goes for the 808. Forget the 1020- it was terrible and only offered RAW and a faster lens compared to the 808. The problem with all the Nokias from above is that the lenses were poorly coated, so flare was horrendous.
Now I'm on an HTC U11, also used a U12+ extensively and there are no comparisons. The Nokias have been surpassed. I prove this because I use my phone alongside my SLRs and have publications with the HTC.
let's also not forget that Panasonic with the 1" sensor
I have nostalgia- loved the size, the developed Belle OS, the battery life, but the nostalgia only goes so far.

The video clarity at High Resolution cannot be matched with any other mobile today.
But what to do.
One wring decision of Nokia to Microsoft. That changed the platform.

In January 2018 I bought an Android Phone with 6GB RAM but it's still lag once in a while, and I can't understand it why. Whereas my Good Old Symbian N8 could surf the net, navigate, and browsing with 256MB RAM, amazing !
