The N8 is so tiny compared to modern day phones. I love my N8 it’s still a superb phone. Brilliant camera, still now.

Only the one Best phone I ever had with me! and only phone i could recongnise the talk clearly. and it was fast email serving phone as well like Blackbery. super good camera. never had SD card corruption or other nonsense like Android. stable platform with perfect app. how come Microsoft bring it down and stop services one after other with this phone. I still have two of them and hunting to find if any phone is equal to this Jem !

This is so much smaller than I remember it being!

I was planning to sell mine. Well, after holding it for a moment. Nope, i will not sell this jewelry, it is 1 billion times better looking then any iPhone, Samsung whatever. I wait for Nokia to really come back, this guys were the real deal.

Im feeling very lucky on having this phone. I still got mine and still playing on it. Using it as a digital camera. Its almost 7 years now. The battery now is starting to show problems and drains fast but thats because of the phones age. This is the ultimate smartphone of the century!

Started to use AGAIN - after using so many android phones with fancy screens and large size displays.

I am surprised to see how much I am liking it again. Kudos to the one of the best industrial designs.

HMD Global - if you are listining - waiting for N8 form factor with Android on board. Please please please ................Xenon flash is the cherry on the pie :)

I came to check out the phone specs and thought that the comment section will only have old comments and well what a nice surprise people still talking about how great this Nokia phone is/was.

I still remember my Nokia N8. Back then, it used to be my daily driver. The build quality, was like a tank. I had dropped it so many times accidently and yet it survived without any wounds on the body. The sound quality through the loudspeaker was just awesome, so much so, that I still miss it to this day because I haven't found the same kind of sound clarity in any other phone. The camera was its ace feature with rare features like mechanical shutter, Xenon Flash, dedicated two-step shutter key, large sensor size which are near about extinct in smartphones these days. The low-light shots with the Xenon flash were amazing and I still got them. They still look much, much better than low-light shots taken with LED Flash fired. The last major OS update (Symbian Belle) was pretty cool, stable and user friendly. The OS was simple yet very interesting. Unfortunately, the combination of lack of applications and the lack of further development killed it. What I really liked about the user interface was that, it had a completely black theme preinstalled, which was pretty good on that gorgeous AMOLED display. The Nokia N8 holds the legacy of Nokia and shows the glorious past of the king. I consider the Nokia 808 PureView to be the successor of the Nokia N8 and it was the last glory of the king. It's a fact, Nokia was ahead at that time in terms of cameras and many other technological aspects. Unfortunately, business is all about choices. You either make a right choice or a wrong one, that is what decides the fate of a company. Nokia went down and we all saw it. Now that Nokia has already attempted a comeback with a choice they should've already made before going down, I don't see them as serious as it requires for a comeback. I sincerely hope for a Nokia N8 reincarnation..
