my bro tell me.he is working as developer in NRC Helsinki which is just a few
minutes from Nokia worldwide
headquarters in the neighboring city
of Espoo, Finland. Working in conjunction with the Helsinki
University of Technology (TKK), which
is also the location of the Nokia
Research Lablet at Otaniemi, NRC
Helsinki projects are pushing forward
the fields of more friendly user experience in os, mobile security, power management and
computing architectures, as well as
intelligent context-aware radio.
Updates may change when it will be officially announce.

wow n8 can connect bluetooth wireless mouse and keyboard ..working like mini laptop...great nokia now thats the answer to iphone and Htc ....

Why to argue or comment too much about this tool! GSM arena itself has given this:
Main disadvantages
>Symbian^3 is still behind Android and iOS usability standards
>No video light
>Camera interface is decidedly outdated
>Relatively limited 3rd party software availability
>No office document editing (without a paid upgrade)
>Video player has some issues
>Battery life is not on par with best in the business
>Battery is not user-replaceable

Raz, 08 Jan 2011Nice info.. But still wanna see if they will change the OS.... morepr 2.1 s^3 os will be use on nokia x7.
c7,c6-01,n8 has pr 1.1
they will be updated to pr 2.1 in feb.
pr 2.1 can use higher ram and cpu requirements.
cpu upto 800mhz and ram upto 5oo mb can be used.
pr 2.2 will be release in may.
pr 2.3 will release in july.
pr 2.4 aka s^4 will implement in september at nokia world in london.
s^4 can use cpu of more than 1 ghz and ram upto 1gb.
s^4 will continue to evolve.

nokia is the ... moreYes... nokia is the first in many things. so many things that its hard to calculate them.
I remember well when nokia manufactured best smart phones like 6600 & 6680 &..., samsung didn't even know what an OS might be ! when nokia had n95, samsung phones ware unable to instal a java application. I remember well when I tried to install an application on a samsung u600 and i failed and it was unable to get that dictionary installed on it!!!

[deleted post]what are you talking about? update is coming next week. symbian^3 (not symbian os) is still new if you dont know. at least we are getting updates, unlike some android users out there still crying out for a 2.2 update. have you even looked at the 1st version of iOS and android. Utter crap. and dont come and talk about WP7 os. to me is just another iOS. the use of 1ghz or more processor in those phones just to run properly just goes to show that other OS are just plain resource hog. pls do some research first before posting
