i have now my nokia n8. i like it a lot but i think that it could bring more RAM. for default you have only 180MB to use. if you get 1000 SMS in the box you will have 160MB to use. then you will have "not answer calls" and other things. the new software put the nokia n8 faster with a low cost CPU and it it´s great to improve the battery life time :D
the GPS is really good. if you have a n97 you will need to wait about 5 minutes so start the travel. with the nokia n8 you wait 2 or 5 seconds.
i only ask better CPU and more RAM for the future nokia phone. 1GH or more and 512mb or more :P

Bhow, 31 Dec 2010hey guys... just want to ask if can we switch the camera to... moreIt can be changed to different settings. The phone comes preset at 9mp. You can change that to 12mp or lower. The only difference is in the display on the phone when you open a 9mp and 12mp pic. The 9mp pic displays across the entire screen whereas the 12mp pic is slightly smaller. The 12mp setting is however much better in print quality, detail and in magnification.

hey guys... just want to ask if can we switch the camera to other megapixel mode aside from 12megapixel? becoz i've been reading a lot of blogs that says "switch the camera to 12 megapixel mode".. is there any other megapixel mode like 3mp, 5mp, 8mp etc..??
and what is the best setting of the camera for taking pictures? thanks!

1) The n8 has a 3.5 nHD screen which has a higher resolution than the 3.2 HVGA optimus screen
2) The n8 is made out of better materials
3) The n8 has a higher internal memory storage
4) The n8 has better connectivity (more advanced blutooth, wifi, higher class gprs/edge)
5) the n8 has a better camera (do i need to say that?)
6) etc, etc, etc (too lazy to write the rest)
You cannot compare the n8 with the optimus 1, is like taking a iphone 3gs and comparing it with the galaxy s
