I have found a few things about N8. Please note that these things are minor problems to me, but might be a bigger problem for some people.
1. N8 CANNOT change the song details from inside. You have to edit the ID3 tags outside the phone & then copy them into N8.
2. N8 CANNOT create new equaliser presets in music player. Though I don't miss it much, but for some people it might matter.
3. When you are browsing the file manager, if you quickly press the camera shutter button halfway, the search option pops up. This was a good idea of NOKIA. I even didn't find it in anywhere, so I though I should share it with you guys.

raj, 22 Dec 2010which one is better?????? noka n8 or sony vivaz.....As a cameraphone, go for N8. As a great overall phone, I would recommend high end android devices.

symbian 3 is two m0onths old??now u r saying this but b4 the nokia lovers were saying symbian is a very matured os has got many apps what about that??
n for ur kind imfo wave is also having a new os but its growing bigger n better..every minute..

adkane, 22 Dec 2010is just my estimate, more will come soon. symbian^3 is just... moresee for urself wave has 500 games approx n the total application is not 1400 its much more than that n i think u r so out of date like symbian!!

from all the comments i read, better dont buy this phone. you'll regret. the N8 is not that bad. but its a wasting of $$$ to pay a phone with Symbian OS which is so slow and the best part is, it restarts by it self. i regret buying nokia symbian. :( planning to get other phone except Nokia.

500? sounds a little outrageous for a platform that has only 1400+ apps only
and my count did not include the games that can be played on various emulators available for the symbian^3 platform
