Droid Rampage you will of to wait until sept-dec between those month so my thing is work with the phone with durability built and has much more feature basic fm radio penta band 3g any network.

i have a n8 tips
when you installed any application you must reboot for the apps work proper if you this after any installation you won't have any problems
i mine for 2 day now no problem so far.
the symbian 3 is almost flawless just few bugs here there still better android 2.1 and 2.2 with flash among other feature

Really sorry to hear such stories of N8 dying. Mine is working fine and I love it very much. Maybe Nokia sould look into recalling the defective batch rather than wait for people face the frustration. Even the best car makers have done it.

hey brynn how r ya .. me too really remember ur name from a while ago !! hi ! sorry to hear about faulty n8s u've got , i heard some faulty units where in the market and thats sad .. mine for my good luck was good and wasn't one of them! ., hanged 2 or 3 times cuz of the 3rd party app. not compatible with new symbia^3 ,its really annoying the size of the HD video that file is 225mb! u can download it at the link posted...
the wave is really a great pretty slim fone i love its touck and sleek style but the only problem for me was the led flash , although its a good function for night videos but for still imaging at night is not that good .. the galaxyS am not yet into androids not mature enough i think the samsung wave is way better more stylish and hyper i really wanna get myself a one before its discont.
hahhahaaa about the car brakes :-))) i was trying it for one of ma friends and uploaded for him i wasn't satisfied with it cuz it lacks ABS but fair for its price.
so i think u may pick another Good N8 ... cuz mine really didn't show the memory full or out of memory issues maybe it was 3rd party appl. cuz this bug.. as fring or whatapps or blacklist ..maybe am not sure
if u r not into imaging stick with the wave .. if u need the extra xenon flash go for the n8 ... by the way the USB on the Go feature isn't that good as they claim .., not all devices are recognized by the n8 ... my kingston 8gb pen drive (flash stick-thumb disk!) didn't recognized while the sandisk works flawlessly .., and its annoying carrying the cable all the time with you...,
anyway i luv photography so am with the N8 for a while .. the big sensor with the xenon gives brilliant results .., watch those pics of mine on

@sea-breeze, ive had 3 n8 and just underwhelmed altho some say i could have had bad units..I love sammy wave because it has concert sound setting which gives nightclub sound,plus battery,screen,audio etc.
I may try another n8 i just miss led flash for night video and concert surround setting.The n8 trouble i had was out of memory errors playing back hd video thru tele..The video was not random its was taken with the n8..Surely tho i could get a usb led light(usb OTG) and use that as video light??
I am not going with Android tho its all over place and bad at battery management,,you seen new nexus its worse than nexus 1 and here in uk carfone want 549GBP for it.The n8 blows it away for nearly half the price.
Ohh and SGS records in silly .3gp format and has poor batterry and no led but has concert setting.May get n8 or c7,mmmmm think i will sleep on it..I do respect your opinions due to earlier posts on gsm forums.

It took a while to watch cause obviously hd is taking 60-80MB per video and my connection is 8Mb/s supposidly "huh" more like 1b/s .They are really going to have to reinvent the web cause with everything going hi-def i am sure you will agree its failing under heavy bandwidth now being used..Anyway love that big brake test in hyundai car at 100?per hour,hee in uk its miles per hour.
I think looking at your vids your a bit hyper like me ,i love real ultra low bass ,cars locking wheels and mad things or MAYBE your sane and misread things.

I bought a nokia N8.each day the screen is frozen and i can not use my HS.now it's totaly frozen and i can not een switch it off.
it's a night marre.i had the nokia x6 and it's much better.
For the camera..i can not see any difference between the 5megapixel i had before and the 12 in nokia n 8.

I'm about to buy Samsung Wave or Nokia N8... I know that Samsung Wave has better resolution screen and is faster than Nokia N8 but other than these, i think that Nokia N8 has more and better features..
Overall which is the best phone to buy..??
Any opinion on these two phones would be appreciated..

Great phone to use.. I got mine on 5th December. Picture clearity is awesome with 12MP camera. Just can't resist clicking...................

I dont own an N8 yet. I have an N95 8GB but i have been following this forum since the phone was announced and I remember that the problem you describe was faced and resolved by others here before.

i m not happy with nokia n8.camera indoor result is worse.my previous nokia 5233 2mp cam is better indoor result.all my saving spend on n8,very disoppinte.pls anybody guide me how better indoor cam result ?pls reply

Janus, 15 Dec 2010I am waiting for my N8, can't wait anymore!! Kinda disappoi... more Yep it does have an eyelet. I;ts located right at the bottom, towards the left ( if looking at the back of the phone ) in-line with the Xenon flash.
