Can I install skype in my Nokia N8? I try to install from OVI but there is no available skype for N8. Why?.. Is there any equivalent program that I can use for video call through internet?

Place shortcuts in screen untill screen gets full & rotate the phone, all icons overlaps.
And if u press home screen button while watching a movie the spbshell screen appears half.
Loads of more issues with spbshell.

I have had my Nokia N8 for 1 month now and just wanted to share my experience.
The day bought it I found it to be faulty, hardware issue, head phones not working and had to get it replaced, the nokia care in India took 10 days to give me a replacement. This was a huge disappointment.
Bought it and in 1 day it was gone, I was left with a 1100 model given by the priority dealer.
I had bought 2 phones for 23490 each after checking prices at 4 shops and in 5 days they reduced the price by 800 rupees per piece, this was another let down.
Have been using my N8 extensively since buying it and found it to be a good device.
Speed: for all the arguments of whether the 680 Mhz processor is enough or not, i would like to add that its slow compared to others. I don’t know if it requires a heavy processor or not but the fact is that it is slow.
UI: i have always been a fan of Nokia and have used all E series models plus others; this is my first N series phone. The UI is no different and I like it. I also installed SPB shell and it made the phone blazing fast. So for the guys who don’t like the default UI, check SPB Shell.
Web Browser: It is a good browser but once again the speed is the criteria and one of the biggest things is auto setting of text when zoomed, we have to scroll vertically and horizontally to read the text, it is very irritating. Expecting a fix for this, as an update
Music Player: the sound is good enough for me; radio transmitter was a very welcoming feature. The only problem is that it shows the folders on artists and not on the name of the folder. So looking for folder is tough especially when driving.
Social App: it doesn’t work, stupid thing only works on WIFI network, don’t know why, still trying to figure out a way.
OVI Store & Ovi Music: this is one of the best part, I love this, have got 1 year of unlimited downloads with latest music available for free, now that’s too much to give. I have got all major app from the store so no complains about less number of apps availability.
Maps: I don’t use the navigation feature but had used to check some location, found Google maps to be better and faster. But sure will not be able to match the lifetime free navigation given by nokia. In nokia maps it took time to lock on to the location.
Contacts: Asusual the best amongst all ever used. Seamless and error free compatibility and syncing. Storing it online on OVI is a great great feature and very useful.
Emails: i was a BB user before i switched on to this phone, so can’t compare but happy with whatever i have. No Complaints At All.
SMS: the typing is best in the world, have been very comfortable with T9 and just love it for this phone as well. As the touch sensitivity of this phone is excellent, typing is marvellous. I don’t require swipe.
Camera: No need to say anything here
Videos: one more time incomparable, runs absolutely all videos i have, so works for me. Simply mindblowing.
TV connectivity: After camera i think for me it is the best possible thing. Superb.
Other nice things: Over the air software updates, new you tube app by google, New maps, Photo Editor, Radio, Battery monitor, Angry birds, Qtorch.
Not so good things: Dictionary, Quick Office, Social Applications and SPEED.
But the fact is that this is a great device and not considering the small issues which are hopefully going to get solved in the firmware update i think ITS THE BEST AVAILABLE PHONE in the market.
Especially considering the cost, i don’t think for Indian market there is anything comparable to this.

M facing problem with messages from last month, there are sent messages & messages in inbox but if open the inbox & sent, no message appears.
After restrting phone everything works correctly, i can see messages.
Is anybdy eslse facing this prblm?
