by the way .. u won't notice symbian^3 or N8 powers in 30min. ! it takes days ... every day u gonna discover something new believe me
and what the hush for 5530 display ! its a TFT 360x640 Resistive Display !!!!!!!!!! how it could be better than the Amoled Capacitive N8 display !

Dear all friends,
I had the opportunity to hold Nokia N8 in my hand and to go through it for few minutes and the review I’ve got to say about my experience is pretty bad. Nokia N8 used to be my dream phone, but it no longer is. But still, it is a wonderful device with the best ever camera came with a mobile so far. Well, I’ll simply list out the pros and cons of that mobile so that you may compare/decide whether I’m reasonable or not..
Pros:
## It’s fast (What Android fanboys tell about Symbian^3 being slow is bullshit. Application start times are great and overall system is pretty faster than S60 V5. And believe me when I say, this processor and small RAM is more than enough for Symbian^3 to run so many applications…
## Camera is an absolute value (This I don’t have to tell anybody… Right…?) It detects faces so fast and the photos – when checked in a PC, are really awesome…!
## Sunlight legibility has been so much improved than old touch screen mobiles of Nokia
## Battery life is (said to be) wonderful. (This is not my personal experience though I trust the owner. He said, even though the battery capacity is lower than 5800 battery, the life time of a single charge is really good compared with the stuff it does…)
## Watching videos is a very cool experience…! (Seeking here and there is very quick.)
Cons:
## Symbian^3 could be a multi tasking monster. It could be very energy efficient too. But still it needs so many improvement by means of modernity, functionality, effects etc.. (It’s too much similar to S60 V5 which is kind of boring now…)And there are so many bugs to be fixed as well.
## Low Screen resolution is really noticeable.. (Believe me guys… If you’ve used Nokia 5530 which has the best Screen Resolution of all Nokia’s so far, then you Will notice that difference in a second. If you’re going to move from Apple, then also you’ll notice that N8 has poor resolution.)
## AMOLED is nowhere near to Samsung Super Amoled….! (Not even close)
## Compared to the size of the phone, the size of the screen is too small. And the 3 icon wide same old 5800 menu style is really really boring.
## Music is cool but NOT great…! (I know this will be kind of surprising to you guys… But believe me, I have a good ear and I know what’s crystal clear music… Nokia N8 Music has some serious issue not been that great as Nokia Xpress Music line up…) I compared N8 output (not loudspeaker) with my good old 5530 and surprised to know, 5530 Music quality is not only louder, but also way better than N8 Music out put. (This is the most crucial mistake Nokia has done to N8. Even though it’s a multimedia monster, everything’ll be useless if the quality of Music is poor…) Besides, Music player doesn’t support Custom/manual presets…! (Ridiculous decision from Nokia stupid software Engineers…!)
I only had half an hour to check all those out… So I could be wrong on my little experience… But some guy may find this comment useful… (Specially a Guy like me, who really love Symbian OS more than Android or Apple…)
As for myself, under the circumstance, I’d better just wait some little more time until next nokia Music phone comes out with better resolution and a decent camera as well… (Because I don't like either Apple or Samsung... Nokia was and always has been my one and only choice because of it's durability and wonderful Symbian OS...)

i'm suprised they have enough battery life to talk so much crap on their phones XD

and that's still the best browser of all time

It's an amazing phone. Wondeful! You can do everything with It, but, its virtual keyboard is not comfortable. I prefer real qwerty keyboard...
Some persons do like the keyboard of the N8, I prefer the N97 or N97 mini keyboard.

i use it more then opera mobile 10 now a days XD
i just want the new browser to have a slightly better bookmark look like how opera has it
and multiple screens selector some what like how opera mobile has is and i'm good

1.the 12mp snapper(obvious)
2.hdmi port
3.fm transmitter
4.lifetime free voice navigation..the new ovi maps beta is simply outstanding..
5.dolby sound system
6.48gb memory capacity(16+32)
7.usb on the go
8.stereo audio recording(dual microphones)
9.hd video recording(it gets 30fps and continous autofocus with a simple hack)
10.it can play almost any video thrown at it without installing any app for it..
i think that summarizes why we all love this phone so much..o n did i mention that u can use it as a laptop by connecting it to a hdtv and using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard...edit docs, surf the net ...pretty much everything a laptop can do...
and the browser problem u mentioned will be permanently solved in feb n till then am happy with my opera 10..
dont take it the wrong way nothing agaisnt android or you..just my n8...:)
