it will take 2 months for the N8 to be rank2

but i doubt the daily interest will continue to be exact, so my guess would be 2.5 months for rank 2, and 6 months for rank 1

Then you have HTC bringing out a Windows phone 7, which may take the crown from Google and end their dominance.
Not to mention Nokias refusal to have anything to do with Android and sticking with Symbian.
I'd like to make a bold prediction and say that Android may go the way of Linux and end up being used only by enthusiasts and geeks as it would seem it's not all it's cracked up to be.

          Cheers.

Theres many issues with apps and watever. Not a surprise if considering Samsungs bad record when it comes to software and aftersales services. The fixes and patches for Galaxy S has come from enthusiast and advanced users, Samsungs absence shud come as no surprise. "Reset to factory settings" seem to be samsungs only advice to Galaxy S owners with issues.

As far as the Samsung Galaxy S goes it is a decent phone BUT,
it feels like it came out of a Christmas cracker. It just feels cheap and plasticky. And I can't fathom why it doesn't have a LED flash for the camera. Now the Samsung wave is a lot better in terms of build quality due to the Aluminium housing, BUT it doesn't have Android, it has Bada instead which to me feels and looks like a hybrid between Symbian and Android.
I'm not a big fan of Android but I can't condemn it as being rubbish because it is quite good. However, if you look at the changelogs for Android, their first offerings were really quite poor in terms of functionality, and they're only just catching up to what a phone OS should be doing.
So, I'm quite relaxed about the shortcomings of Symbian 3 as it is only in it's first release and can only improve with the planned updates in the new year. Also bear in mind that Symbian 3 at the present is far superior to the first release of Android way back in late 2009, which is encouraging in my opinion.

                    Cheers.

I can only assume you've never used any other previous versions
of Symbian, as you wouldn't have made that erroneous statement.
There are lots of new improvements in Symbian 3 compared to previous versions.

Hello everyone... I am using N8 from past 2 months nd it had been a great experience exploring it..but now after 2 month i am realising that nokia has done nothing new in symbian^3. i mean its a good cell no doubt but it lacks d android flexibility..just now i read one review on yahoo, it also states that by 2011 nokia will loose its king position nd it can keep his position as king only if dey come up wid android or something new which our eyes have never seen before..something revelutionary, something radical....being a nokia user i feel bad for myself and for d company dat company is doing nothin for their customers.. its been 3 months nd dere is no news of fw update. browser is just pathetic, restarting problem is remote thing but is still dere, limited 3rdparty software availabilty, costly oVI store, no eq in music player, and blah blah...
I am quite sure dat if nokia continue showing this kind of careless behaviour den most of their old nd loyal customer will switch to other brand or OS.. Please Nokia do something soon..i cannot see u dying.

no no nokia n8 its useless and comparatively very poor performance than samsung's pixon and galaxy. samsung is best of best in mobile world and know well how to apply technology in mobile development.
