cce121, 10 Dec 2010Guys,can anyone give opinions on symbian os in N8 and andro... mores android has large app store , and s poor battery , u want ease to use obviously symbian , smooth as of now android , but n8 will tremendously improve in some time !

Guys,can anyone give opinions on symbian os in N8 and android? I personally like a easy to use n smooth os.
i have heard android is power thirsty bt it has more 3rd party app up 4 grab comparing to symbian (ovi store).
Plz tell me what u think..^^

Using this for more than a month now,didn't face any serious problem so far except for browser. Camera is amazing speed is fine gaming is good a little laggy but not worst. Overal n8 is good multimedia phone for me,not the best but worth for money.

one thing i tell u i like this phone thats y i buyed it for features n looks but iam having this problem two times so can't help my self also...have to change this can u tell me any phone having similar features like this phone not everything similar but smthing...

Sobhi, 10 Dec 2010they copied like iphone for internal battery this is laugha... moreActually you can change N8 battery by opening two screws. It is a standard Nokia battery inside.
Compare that to iPhone, where taking the case apart is already a huge chore and then you find that the battery is actually soldered to the board.
I wouldn't call that the same.

Very hard to configur... moreYou don't sound like the brightest bulb in the box, if you have trouble setting up email on N8. Most reviews I've read praise the setup. Here is one example...

APN isn't that much harder. Don't know what you are doing with the battery but it lasts about day and a half. Of course if you really try, you can kill the battery fast by for example running apps that keep GPS active 24/7, but that of course affects every smartphone out there.
And seriously, OVI maps is by far the most reliable navigation on a smartphone. Only gripe I can come up with is it could use a better search.

they copied like iphone for internal battery this is laughable mistake nokia had make never ever seen a such bluddy phone...
nokia giving features like hdmi,blutooth 3.0..12megapix,,full hd recording tell them that we can use these feature if our mobile work in simple way..this mobile does not work simply then we came to know how much we can use these feature....i hate nokia really in future if someone gave me any phone of nokia in free then i also not take it...

This phone is really bad..when i buyed this phone after ne month this phone dosn't swith on then i go to noki care they replace this phone after getting new phone again after one week again same problem again they said that we have to send this to head office again waiting for phone its really bluddy mistake when i buyed this phone ...poor quality poor nokia care service everything is poor ....its like that my money got lost somewhere really bad really

it's indicate at the package, Don't buy class 2 memory card not support For Nokia N8, you have two option class 4 and class 6 its only support for Nokia N8,, My MIcro "SDHC" is RIDATA class 4, Fully loaded of 40 movies 1AVI, and mostly loaded is mp4 format on my n8, My remaining memory to my card is only 284MB with no hang and laggy, and my built in internal memory is fully loaded of thousand of songs with no hang and laggy,, 800MB remaining..
Nokia N8 is the best NSERIES lots of improvement in performace compared to previous NSERIES, Its really fast and very responsive... No need to convert your movies..
