I have two phones the first a sony ericsson satio
and now a nokia n8 I believe that the n8 is a better phone than the satio because it is newer, but in many respects the satio has some features that are better than n8.Video recording in low light with the satio was awesome because you could switch the light on and film,with n8 i havent found a way to do that,secondly the n8 has no dedicated call keys which if your wanting to make a quick call the process is a lot slower.
Iguess you wont get everything you want in a phone and having owned two 12 megapixel phones there are good things about this phone and there are bad things the satio i believe was a very underated phone and nokia has made a similar product

I am a nokia fan-boy and I really want this phone. but because of all the problems the phone is giving the users i am having 2nd thoughts.. can anyone suggest either when the second batch is coming out or which other nokia i should consider?

Nokia please come up with other n series 12mp camera phone which has lens cover, dedicated call and end keys, video led light, removable battery, variable aperture camera with continues autofocus video recording. problems with n8 will make it out of market within one year. it has a very serious design problem because Nokia people just concentrated on style and looks of the phone which is very bad. first they should have given importance to usability and user experience and quality checking.

really love this phone but I am so unlucky ! Wont do same mistake again ! Frustation ! Feels like I ve wasted my money !

Som, 09 Dec 2010I agree that the features claimed by NOKIA are gr8 only if ... morebest luck mate ! I am going to give it 3rd chance ! 1st had restarting problem then I got a replacement from Nokia care ! Itz working fine but afte 1 week the loudspeaker stopped working ! The replaced phones r not new ! They just exchange the problematic phones which r submitted to them by the customers ! It doesnt matter 4 them bcuz they dont care !

Is there AUTO RE-DIAL function in Nokia N8.
If its there can some one kindly tell me how to find the samwe.
I tried and the Nokia Agent who soild me the phone also tried b. But its not there to be found

the music play time given here is 50 hours. And in peak we dont even get the one quarter of 50hrs. . Al bull shit

This is the NOKIA N8 FORUM. So heres an idea why don't you test both the N8 and Galaxy Series
Just to let you know if the Galaxy does beat the N8 in download you wont be singing to the choir in this Forum.

A 12 mega pixel camera with carl zeiss optic compare with 12 mega pixel camera(like satio)
Is that any different when took picture?

one of the best phone that i ever used..i've used many smartphones,like iphone,palm,sony ericsson smartphones,nokia smartphones..i find this phone awesome.working well..no such issues like turn off itself...

hey guys ,can anyone tell me when will the second batch of n8 be coming out? i want to buy this phone but scared of the hassel(going to nokia centre) if it keeps breaking down.and is the problems been fixed by a software update or is it cause by first time production errors?
