Can people on here talk about this phone & not iphone please. Make constructive comments if you do not like this phone go away for goodness sake. If you hate it we do not care. And whoever said iphone compares to N8. Well, iphone it's just an ipod with a phone attached to it. And Apple cannot even get that right. i had iphone 4 & sold it. Why?? Cos all calls were constantly going to voicemail battery was poor I could go on. The N8 does have nice sharp screen for it's size I have no issues with it & who gives a stuff if iphone has retina display. Big deal man

Damn man !! why all the trolls compare N8 to Iphone ey?, Want the real competitor? try SE Satio and N8, I can see N8 has better features than Satio, Trough out both Satio and N8 running Symbian, not the Iphone, that is running on an android OS, only Iworm can handle it, just few bites and there you go rusty apple, I'll buy the N8 since second batch is coming sooner this month in australia, :)

FB, 04 Dec 2010Brother Snonre,is your n8 made in China? If yes, then how is... moreYes, mine was made in china and the only prob i had was one restart, and that's it. everything works flawlessly my man. Music is a bit low volume though.

the second batch of the n8 is already on sale and most of the probs that have been discovered in the first batch has been solved in the second batch. so there is no worry for you when you buy the n8 now.

Anjan, 04 Dec 2010Well N8 is the best nokia phone ever to come, but I am very ... moreAre you 100% sure they are scratches or are you just seeing under certain lighting conditions the diamond shapes of the indium-tin-oxide touch sensor?
I had the same pattern on my Omnia HD and have on my current Desire and it's a pattern which will be seen on I think every single capacitive phone, I also suspect going by forums that a few Desire users also mistook the pattern for scratches as well.

Brother Snonre,is your n8 made in China? If yes, then how is its performance, like camera, video recording, music? I heard that the quality of Nokia handsets made in Finland are better than the ones made in China,is that true? I'm from Bangladesh and n8 is available here but it's made in China. As such, I'm bringing an n8 from UAE pretty soon but I don't know its manufacturing country,so I'm a bit confused...

                            [deleted post]Hii

If you are not able to decide the i would like to say that it totally depends on your choice..

                            Go for N8...
If you are looking for an excellent camera and good call quality...but in case of browsing you have to give some extra effort(larger number of taps) compared to iphone.....(UI in this is managable but not excellent as in iphone)

                            Go for Iphone...
If you are looking for an apple phone and also a better and easier user interfaace.....I can't find anyother thing in iphone than a better UI...

[deleted post]The problem is not the 680MHz, the problem is that 680MHz on Arm11 equals to around half that speed on a Cortex A8 or Snapdragon. Basically its almost 3 times slower than a modern 1GHz processor.

680MHz would actually be very good if it was a modern processor. But its not, its ancient tech.
