To all the haters. The N8 was never planned to beat any phone by miles. It was designed to be unique and different. Excellent in some ways and average in others. So to pick on certain aspects individually would be fine cos there are some bad elements and there are more than just SOME good elemants. Combine all of these together and you have a very powerfull mobile and not many can come close to it. So if the only things you guys can pick on is the UI, browser, apps, processor....and what else? What hanging, freezing and??? Every phone manufacturer has the Monday phone. At least it was just a small batch with flaws but not a design flaw that classes the entire lot of phones. 2011 is just around the corner. I believe the updates for this phone would be great. A lot of those gaps and issues highlighted will be eliminated soon through updates. Every phone has done so and so would Nokia. Think of it as something that has just been born. It will gather momentum at a very frightening pace very soom. If this isn't your cup of tea then grab a meego phone soon. The os is looking good to go and the phones will run using intels atom processor. The phone will be way ahead of others. Time to play catchup again android, iOS, WP7 etc. Mobile Computors in our hands. Not eye candy. The intel and Nokia merger is the winner. No phone would come close. Tablets to follow soon and they looking good too. For now, i love my N8. Nothing comes close to an all in one package like this phone. When meego phones are released, i will get one but i will still love this phone. Fits into my life perfectly and does everything with no fuss. Just what i need.

The Samsung Omnia HD is almost better then this one, and it is an OLD model. What happened with Nokia?? If Samsung hadn't leaved the Symbian foundation, now they should had been some very good Symbian devices.

First it didn't work at all (for one of my friends it still doesn't) and even now it isn't that great. N8 always locks in seconds for me, even when inside. Plus of course the navigation is worldwide and offline.

But with Opera Mini and the new browser update. This is no longer true.
N8 Email handler is not as good compare to Galaxy S. This is just purely base on user preference. I find it no different.
N8 Camera is definitely better with better lens, sensors and Xenon flash. Galaxy S have no way to change this.
N8 have USB OTG. Galaxy S none and no way to improve it.
There are more features that N8 have and Galaxy S can never have..
There are just too much that i am too lazy to write here.
Cause no point writing here to convince you to like N8..
Simple, if you don't like it. Don't buy it.

It's really funny how the N8 haters still coming here to speak crap and bullshit about the this phone, I never been in any of the Samsung/HTC/Iphone’s forums, simply because I really don't care what they do or talk about them, guys it's very simple, don't suffer with what other are enjoying the most.

nokia is strugling to get a position in smart phone market.Their last way to a victory is N8.It has a success as a phone but still far behaind before android,apple,blackberry etc.Samsung,HTC,Apple,Blackberry are doing well in the market.Nokia want to improve their software.Symbian 5 is very bad version.Even Samsung Corby can easily beat that.Symbian 3 is also not much improvement.where is Nokia's TABLET.Now all are before tablets.Nokia wants to recreate their entire product line up.

Dear friends, m using n8 for past one month.I've set the screensaver option as noon so it'll be blank most of the time, if i receive some msg i can see my screen with somthing like slight light backgrnd . Is that'll be some display prob??
