My friend have to exchange his N8 2x due to hardware problems. It was so funny he was bragging about how great the N8 is then it died on him after 3
days. He is now on his third N8 and he's not bragging anymore.

hi giity thanks for your advice my battery now is stable, up to now my battery life is full bar... im using the wifi connection when im downloading at ovi, when i click the download is ok then start downloading after a few minute error cannot complete download try again, and i try again it is the same? do you have any i dea how can i download direct to computer from ovi store?

If anyone either bothered to read my post properly i said that 2 out of 3 phones get brought back. that means that yes some of them will be perfectly fine. I am a nokia fan my self. i have only ever had nokias so i am not some iphone fanboy or nokia hater. i am just stating facts that i have witnessed of the past month or so.

Symbian's user interface and experience is no match to Android and iOS which are built from the ground up for touch screens.
What Nokia did is they used an aging OS that's not built for touch screens and slapped it on a touch screen device and hoped that the public won't notice. Nokia also needs to realize that user experience trumps great hardware anyday. They need to have a fresh start with MeeGo and do what Windows did with their WP7.

I don't understand with all those people, I've been use n8 for more than a month and it workin fine. Its not the best phone,but definitely good multimedia phone. Don't look for what n8 hasn't but look for what it has,same case with iphone,galaxy s or wave. stop talkin bout what they have,lets look what they haven't. Come on you guys, i know you arent blind stop pretending like you didn't know bout this.

I can not watch youtube videos on nokia n8, while in nokia c5 youtube videos run smoothly .Both the mobile have the same HSDPA 10.2 mbps. Why is it so ? Can anybody explain ?

To All N8 Haters & N8 Lovers:
Please respect people's choice of phone. No cellfone is perfect, you have to evaluate its functionality and see to it that it is what you need, otherwise, buy the brand. This earth will be so boring if all the people is using only the same brand of fone.

This is possibly the worst phone nokia has released in terms of reliabilty. Yes the device specs are good but who wants a phone that in theory works great. I work at an optus store and without a word of a lie 2 out of 3 of these phones are returned within the first week with very different problems. sometimes they wont charge, sometimes they wont take photos, but most of the time the phone will just not turn on. I would not recomend this phone. If you are looking for a good reliable smart phone i would suggest something like the samsung Galaxy S or the Blackberry 9800 Torch.

the n8 let me down xenon flash and no video light and board problems i am a nokia fan but if you want problems buy the nokia n8 i will wait for the successor

ppl n8 is a lovely phone, but not anymore. I bought the phone 2 weeks back and when i had to recharge i realised nokia forgot to make a hole 4 charging. It was replaced by the dealer after 3days. This 1 worked but 3days ago it didnt wanna respond, when i had to take it back it worked and last last night it passed away. Cant do anything wit it. Im so disappointed.
