Guys, its a GREAT phone. But there is only 1 thing thats stopping me from buying this. Its the typing interface. Yukk!!! I hate it. Just like the old 5800, you have to type on the popup screen and click on ok. Totally uncool when compared with the iphone's typing interface. I hope Nokia would come up with something new in this regard.

i search some article n8 lens cover is low quality, reason why some people complaints regarding the camera of n8 is bad. the only solution how to increase images shoot taken by n8? is remove the glass cover from the lens.. but how? i hope nokia do some things how to changed the lens glass cover, changed it to high quality glass cover...
i think it is better n8 lens not put any glass , it is better to changed lens cover not poor glass cover under the lens of camera... :-(

ROM shouldn't have any effect on the performance (well the ROM size anyway). It is just the space where the phone firmware is stored. C6-01 should be just as fast as N8, E7 or C7. I think one of the smarter moves on Nokia's part, since fragmentation can ruin a platform.

[deleted post]I bought this device two weeks ago, for half the price of an iPhone 4, which is a great phone, too.
I knew that the Nokia N8 is the benchmark in terms of multimedia capabilities, but so is the built quality. What I like the most, though, is the Symbian^3 platform. It is way better than I thought. Try it out first, and then comment...

Sails, 30 Nov 2010How big hands you have? Nokia C6-01 is bit small so N8 is e... morebig enough to grab on a basketball with my fingers. i was thinking about that too but the thing is that i seldom use either the camera or watching movies with it.
C6-01 has a ROM of 1GB while N8 has only 512MB. how does it affect the performances?
and i stored lots of musics, so i guess the N8's 16Gb memory has an advantage over the C6's 340Mb.

C6-01 has the beautiful CBD and price going for it though.

im saved. After nokias crap with Arm11 lately i got fed up and changed brand. HTC Desire Z. Onli one thing i regret, THAT I DIDNT CHANGE SOONER. Wow, impresssive build quality, fast and comfrotable, logical, totaly God webbrowser compared to symbian. I feeel sorry for nokia users, what year do you live in????

gitty, 30 Nov 2010I dont want E7 ! I am extremely happy with N8 ! N8 is an awesome device. That of course can be little hard to swallow for some people.
