When i was working on nokias default brouser and opera mini with 3 tabs, mobile died, May be you can try this to check whether your mobile has faulty hardware :), Normally you can work on both, but both has minor disadvantages still they are really good.

Its so hard for Nokia to make their fans happy,but it's soooo easy for Samsung or any android phone maker to make their fans happy. Two word "BIG & HIGH" big screen,high resolution,high processor and all of their fans will sez "HORAAAAAY...!!!" none of them care with hdmi,usb otg,metal case,gorilla glass, 12mp+xenon flash etc...they happy with cheap plastic case,5mp with no flash,no front camera and even no external memory. But no matter what people says bout N8, i still love this phone it has all features that i need. :-)

i love nokia, never had any phone in the past, well i had a sony ericson, which i got rid of in about a week after using, and went back to nokia
i want to get n8, but all the reviews here are not helping
and does anybody know if this phone will have another color? the existing once aren't that nice...

Absolutely best phone I have ever had. Reviews don´t do justice to features Iphone can only dream of. Eliminates need for a separate in car navigation device (free overseas,no roaming charges) and a digital camera. FM transmitter is great. Joiku is great as is sportstracker. Plays divx-movies, hdmi connection to tv, connect directly to amemorystick to transfer files.

And only a small percentage of units have the defects described, should I not buy it because of that? Was the iPhone perfectly engineered, no flaws what so ever? Damn, thats not 'watching movies with your friends through N8' friendly now is it?
Is there a option that puts movie playback on top while it is playing?
Logically, if I'm using the HDMI to play a movie I DO NOT want a call to appear on screen showing my girlfriends tit5, or whatever picture I assign, flashin' or moonin' everybody in the room now do I? Well maybe....:)
Is there an app in the wild that would correct this behavior?

prem mech, 24 Nov 2010is all colors of n8 is anti scratch?All n8 are gorilla glass and anodised aluminium. The colour is bonded chemically.. To cut the long story short, the aluminium isn't coloured, but its of that colour from begining (aluminium is traditionally silver, but anodisation is through a chemical reaction and u just can't remove that colour)
