Even in PC, saving and editing 4000x3000px images is taking a little slow and editing 720p videos takes time. What more in a mobile phone? Everybody please know your device capability so that you won't be disappointed in trying to do something unattainable.

I mean i'd hate to lose all the music i downloaded as it says that my 5800 isn't the unlimited music phone. Well like duh! I dont have my n8 but still want to listen to my music on the go.
Is there a hack or software that i can use to defeat this? Someone, anyone?

Anyway, you know that I'm a regular here and to tell you the truth, i could tell you stories and then you'd class me as a spammer too? LOL!! Anyway, you can consider youself lucky, i'm not. I love the n8 and no other phone would ever come close for now.

Our telecommunications company has issued a warning to all channels asking them to power on the N8 after point of sale but before the customer leaves the store. This is because a high number of handsets have been reported DOA.
So I implore you, if you plan to purchase this handset, PLEASE open up the box and make sure it works before you leave the premises. IF you leave the premises and the phone is DOA, the store can only follow standard warranty procedure ie sending it away to be assessed.

in free memory bars application i am seeing that 100 mb ram is free out of 256 mb. But there is no application running on the background.does anyone know how can i free more memory?

I have had this phone for a week and the experience has been great. One time my phone did freeze but I was able to power reset by holding down the power key.
I am not sure why some people are complaining about major problems. Perhaps they are installing apps that are not compatible with Symbian3 which may be causing issues.

[deleted post]you are smart . In the middle east the both N8 & IPOD 4 Have nearly the same price of I PHONE 4 .which in my country its prise is 900$ US .
