If u want to capture close views,use closeup mode with self timer ! For the landscape views use landscape mode ! Press the capture key properly !

You are just like I was. I was using n86 too then I upgrade to N8. I think lag or software problem is depend to the product..mine is perfect without any single problem while my bro's lag in the first day. So be sure to buy in shop that would exchange the troubled phone

Excellent phone and excellent OS. Symbian is always the best. Iphone is a girl phone and Adroid will die soon. Go Nokia go Symbian.

I purchased an n8 on october 12th. I used the phone for a week when the phone started hanging when using the slide unlock. I reported the matter to Nokia Care Trivandrum India and they sent the phone to delhi and it came back with the same problem 10 days later. The phone was resent and came back with the very same problem. There has been absolutely no help from nokia and nobody seems to bother whether the phone functions or not. I'm in a fix since i wasted so much money!!!!!!!
Tomorrow i have to go to nokia care again

I'm using nokia n86 for long time, and its time for change, and i'm interested in nokia n8 but I hard that it hang while taking pictures. Can any please suggest me should I buy not. Or what should I buy better then n86?

But dont install the Symbian S60V5 version softwares. If u install any of the Symbian S60V5 softwares then phone will restart automatically that to especially Kaspersky Mobile Security(KMS). If u r Planning it after update then there is a chance for u to think of next Nokia phone that may be announced at any time.

i bought it 1 month ago...
it hangs and hangs and hangs..i did factory reset , software update..but of no use...though it takes awesome pics but it also hangs while taking so...
i m gonna sell it..i ll go for a wave if i get hands on..else desire or wait for google nexus s

Hope it'll help you,i also love to play nfs more than asphalt or any gameloft games their (gameloft) games are ugly both graphic and gameplay.

N8 users the spb shell v3.7.1 build 635 has been released very much compatible with your n8 go now and download!! By the way i'm a red satio user!! I just want to help you guys make n8 atleast better in interface where of course the same symbian yet n8 is upgraded to s3!! Sign it with your cretificate download and install then enjoy!!! it took a month b4 this version was released don't waste your time then!!

Guyz just ignore those envy. Their just jelous that their expensive phone dont have the basic feature for a camephone the flash.
Im so excited with the upcoming updates by early 2011. Im waiting for the new homescreen and new animimation trnsition and portrait qwerty
