Found few times that camera lens stayed open even after all app are closed, had to restart phone.

I don't understand with what people thinking,if they doesn't like n8 why come to this forum then? I won't come to android or iphone forum just to said i like symbian and windows phone,its wasting time.

Pictures loaded to Facebook by Ovi looks crappy, even my old 5800 did it much better!!! Cant load video, no direct option to send it on FB ... camera menu lacks, yesterday I cant change profile from offline to General ( Error-can not change profile). Not smooth at all .... my last Nokia phone!!! Cant believe they released phone like that, they must work on it plenty of hours, days, mths and they released crappy phone ... been waiting for it 6 mths and so disappointed guys

Been using the phone for the past few weeks now, got it for 26K INR, i must say that tis definately not worth the money, the camera says 12MP but take my work the samsung galaxy s 5MP seems far better, an on the whole i would rate this phone 4 out of 10 & rate the galaxy S 8/10, only issue with galaxy is that there is no flash for the camera, guys Symbian is drowning, Android is the way to go.

looks like an amazing phone specs wise.
but symbian is a turn-off...
i'm getting a droid even with 8 or less mp camera :)

Picked up mine on 11th Nov, price approx US$500. No, Nokia hasn't officially released N8 in Bangladesh. Only people who pre-ordered it, could purchase it. According to Nokia BD, only 200 units will be sold initially. So far, I'm loving it - a world better than my XM5530 but when I compare it to my E71, not so sure. Yeah, I know, E71 doesn't have amoled touchscreen and so many other things that N8 has. I could a LOT faster with E71. Virtual kbd on N8 isn't easy to use. I like the speed although there were some sluggish moments. Very limited software. Excellent screen. There are definitely some learning curves, for instance, saving a new incoming or missed call from call list, i couldn't find any option. After few minutes, I figured it out - no, I don't read UG. Overall, this is an above par set, if not the best.

my new N8 cannot ON..after i try to open video in my facebook on d internet(using 3.5G),my N8 hang for a while then OFF..after that cannot ON..why?????..they said it will take 2 week to fix it..sory my english is not good.

[deleted post]Don't install 3.0.6 even though it supports pinch-to-zoom and other new features. But it is beta and some people have problems with the beta.
It seems you had a bad luck with you N8. Try to contact you dealer and get a new one.
