Note: movies greater than 2GB even from your Pendrive is not supported and more than 1.5gb you can't ff or rew.

try for yourself, that's the best thing you can do and for sure you can return it if there really are problems on it.
If you only want good UI and browser, then go for iphone or android phones, but if you're a tech savvy and you want a phone that can really do a lot of things, go for N8.

I've had the N8 since Monday ad the NOKIA N8 since Monday and I LOVE IT!
My previous phone was an E72 and I was afraid I would miss it because the E72 was awesome. Well, after two days of playing with the N8 I have to say I don't miss the E72 much.
The first thing I did when I got the phone is setup MFE to link up to my Gmail account. All my Gmail mail/contacts/calendar all sync'd over perfectly with no problems! Now any changes I make on the phone appear in the cloud and vice-versa:) Please ask if you have any questions on how to setup MFE for Gmail.
Next thing I did was load the SPB shell. Although the stock interface is ok, I personally think SPB 3.7 is much better
Next thing I did was install Joiku and a few games.
The only thing that bums me right now is that Skype and Internet Radio are not yet officially released for Symbian3. I know it will happen soon but I am sad because I used those quite a lot on my E72. Besides that though everything is fantastic and also absolutely NO frozen or resets needed.
So far I give this a 8 out of 10. I would give it a 9 if it had Skype and Internet Radio. I would give it a 10 if the browser was better.

snonre, 10 Nov 2010I'll answer that for u, a dragable home screen will follow ... moreThe reason N8 responses st your finger swipe a/2 sec later in the homescreen is because there are some widgets (for example, favourite, aka contacts, where you can keep 20 different names, of them only four are visible. If you swipe it, the rest contacts will show up) that use the swipe as well. So this is not a lag, but the function itself. Similarly, when you press the call key, it waits to see if you press and hold (for voice call) or not.

i would advise you guys on buying your n8, i have purchased the phone for 2 weeks now, all i've encountered is it restarts or hangs a lot without any games installed.
for example:
1. while texting it restarts
2. using gps
3. using radio
4. using gallery
5.even at standy mode it restarts then ask for the lock code key

It wont wait for 1/2 a sec like the ones featured now. Just like the 1 u'll find in icrap......i mean iphone menu.
