And what are you comparing it with? with dual LED or with a digital camera's xenon flash?
Cause I guess they don't put xenon in it when it is only slightly brighter as LED..

i just bought this phn today....was waiting fr so long 2 buy this...finally gt one...nw this phn is awesome...touch response is really gud...sound is good in both speakers n headphones...os doesnt look slow(mayb its new)...hope it runs like this...the only snag bout this phn is its flash...IT AINT MUCH POWERFUL...n distance covered by flash is pretty less...besides that it is a awesome phn...
n can someone tell me hw to register yourself on ovi to get unlimited songs download...

For example there was a nice conversation between someone from India, Canada and Poland where they complained to each other about N8 crashing problem. Too bad the guy didn't realise GSMArena showed the same IP hash to all comments.
Then there was a guy who complained how he should never have changed his N7 to N8. Of course he didn't know enough about Nokia phones to know that there never was an N7.
Then there are the copy paste trolls etc. This is not a very good site to get accurate picture. You should just go to a store and test it yourself.

I was right when i chose satio,no pr0bs at all,and i think symbian is running fine in s.e.
i kn0w that this n8 was a big bo0m for n0kia,'all in 0ne'..until it was launched..but what im reading n0w here in c0mments,all in all,was a half failure..
more pros = more complicated
less pros= less complicated
i just want 2 say,im happy with my se satio,
even if its 1 and half yr.old with this n8.

Install and uninstall more than 30 apps, never hang or reset. Quick as iPhone and yet more open to user. 3GS and N8 is winner combination. Have both :)

ya....dont buy this phone. but if i dont buy n8, which hp got 12mp camera,bluetooth 3.0, usb on the go, battery life can last for 2days with amoled 3.5 screen n this is ALL IN ONE = NOKIA N8

Rohit, 09 Nov 2010N8 is good phone, but mine stopped working so i replaced to... morehey bro..iam using N8 since 20 days now...no problem at all...plz dnt insatll N97 or any other model softwares in it..it mite coz the fone to hang and restart...wen i had gone to see the demo piece of N8 in nokia store, i installed swype for N97 on N8 and it freezed...so i had to uninstall it frm N8...Dis fone is a world class fone...

Guys...
I want to buy n8 but 4 things r stopping me from buying it -
1. N8 takes ages to load & exit games like NFS & other high quality games.
2. N8 is seriously suffering from hanging , restarting & crashing issues like previous nokia phones.
3. Things get more worse as more 3rd party applications r downloaded in it.
4. Current Inbuilt web browser & symbian os stands nowhere in front of android & ios .
One of my friends actually bought n8 & he is facing all these problems.
Help me out guys...!!!

Hi *ut@H*.. I think u r big liar.. I have using Nokia N8 from 25th of Oct. Still this time i haven't got any single issues with the phone. Its simply super and am not not able find a single lag in my phone. Its fast and response is too good. I have a friend who is using iPhone 3G from the day it has been released to market, he also played with my Phone and said that N8 is good to use and he was not able to find a big difference between N8 and iphone 4.
I can say proudly that am an N8 user and its 100% value for the money paid. Finally i want say about camera. Its stunning. I too surprised with the camera capabilities. Its really amazing.

disaster.........my personal advice to all those who desire to buy nokia N8, PLEASE DONT BUY IT....i lost my hard earned 23500/- within seven days of my purchase....the mobile crashed.......if nokia promise to plant a so called TREE on my behalf i promise to drop my N8 in the drop box at nearest nokia care....

- "Full" Reset: hold "Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key" and press power button until your phone shake (Warning! Will remove some apps permanently like Ovi Store and Qt!)

i have just recently purchased a new zitron set nokia N8 at Nokia Center in Sunway Pyramid. Just in 3 days, my phone system crashed and i couldn't turn on the phone at all even after trying to Hard Reset the mobile phone. Is there something wrong with the system or the hardware of the phone?
But overall, the phone is quite handy and has awesome features but according to the guy working in Nokia Care, he stated that the system is temporarily not stable because it is a new phone.
