Gitty, you have different ip. Not sure if you are the real one as here are so many trolls.

How come the store doesn't provide warrant but Nokia does? As far as know many people buy N8 from Hongkong and Macau, but they can still have the services and 2 years warrant from Nokia. If your case is true that you have fresh firmware and still see the restarting problem, you might have a bad luck. Try to negotiate with Nokia to have a replacement. I am pretty sure they should help you.

[deleted post]Go for N8,I know that iphone 4 looks awesome but I can assure you that u'll be totally satisfied with N8's look too,I esp love the silver one....It looks amazing, feels awesome in hand & much more thinner than they seem to be pics .... Besides, iphn 4 has no bluetooth data transfer opt, no flash support, only micro sim card support, multitasking is not so nice as N8,still 5mp cam with led flash,no radio,no hdmi port..... Along with some signal problem...... But yes it's true that iphn 4 is bit faster & UI is better may b..... But still N8 is allrounder,I love this set.... Hope u'll love it too..... Now its you who'll decide..... Choose wisely, have fun.....

The thing is a year is a mighty long time in smartphone's life, so if it takes a manufacturer about six months to fix all the bugs and produce hot fixes like it takes with Nokia that means six months of nothing but frustration. I speak from experience as am a former N97 user. People are still waiting for that all important hot fix nearly 2 years on. Nokia High end smartphones are underpowered and there just ain't enough RAM installed, Symbian itself may not need to much CPU cycles or RAM but third party apps installed may. Off course IOS has bugs but at the end day people affected by the loss of signal are in the minority. Otherwise it works flawlessly. With Nokia phones you need to know which combination of buttons to hold down to reset or learn how to take the battery out and if you do it to the N8 you void your warranty.
It's all about user experience, that's why IOS is out selling symbian in the high end market sector as it a much better user experience.

This phone(Nokia N8) is awesome. I have had the orange one for a little over 2 weeks. As long as it keeps working as well as it does now, I am a happy customer. It has all of the specifications here. The social app is updated and in my opinion better than gravity, but I am not a big gravity fan I find.
The camera is superb (like unbelievable and indescribable-its not just better than others it is a whole different ballgame).

I think most (american)reviewers didnt really use the phone and I am becoming more convinced of that as time goes on.
I have 4G almost everywhere in Denver I go on Tmobile(take that Sprint!) WiFi tethering by JokiSpot, Games have better graphics due to amazing GPU. Lasts through 8+ hours of solid use on 4G and 3+ days if used only as a phone. Can view any website, flash or not, calandar is awesome, now I will never forget a birthday, nested menus, incredible amount of space, the screen is beautiful and you can see it even in direct sunlight. Internal Speaker is awesome, it sounds like I have a full mobile speaker, microphones are great, and I can customize everything! I could go on, but being this isnt an official review.

Downsides:The phone is complicated, the usb tethering takes a very long time to intialize(though after that it works fine). I have yet to see an a error popup, and the only bug I have seen is webpages sometimes closing (which you can immediately reopen by going to history). You need apps to make certain functions like WiFi tethering or calendar/facebook MASS association work (though that is no different than Apple so I dont see that as a downside and you can associate them in a non mass way natively).

I bought this phone because I needed the Pentaband radio, but now I guess I am an enthusist. Oh well.
