I brought N8 just yesterdy, I like it very much... moreare you sure cause my photos where retarded wicked i uploaded them through facebook mobile.......BAD IDEA
facebooks reduces the quality of the pics for some stupid reason if you upload them through the mobile facebook client
i uploaded my main pic through my comp that i took from my N8 and it was fine
not sure what conditions you shot in but mine where ok and the macro shots where amazing

when will all these bashers and haters stop trolling here?? they are making it diffficult for genuuine n8 owners by flooding the forum with their mindless posts...people if you dont own it and dont plan to buy something this good, stop wasting your time here..

try installing opera from ovi store..It is available. Also try opera mini 5.1 beta from opera site..saves on data charges through server side compression.

Hi Guys,
I brought N8 just yesterdy, I like it very much but major dissapoinment is camera, All images has lot of noise except few, when i took sanple picture from stores phone it was extremely good, but mine looks half of it :(, Removed camera cover too, Will it be Firmware problem? even i checked SW update, din get anything. I own N73, where it was also the same condition untill 8 months of updating FW one by one. Again awaiting for nokias FW update :(, Rest looks extremely good :)

There is a different way to switch back the Nokia N8 which is known as HARD RESET. Sometime N8 doesn't ON even holding power button for more than 5 min.

its camera quality is super but its every photo takes at least 5 Mb space that is so enough yar.in 5 Mb a 3gp video comes yar.
And second problem is -when i instaled opera mini 10 then a warning displayed.you cannot instal this application due to security.go to OVI STORE for safer application.

I bought one for me and another for a friend and they both work great,.. made in China. The phone does appear to lag when navigating some of the screens, but I think that is the look of the OS.
Even if it isn't, as i posted earlier, droids and the iphone both mave more polished looks, the transitions are smoother and the OS feels more modern...
That being said, I could not crash this phone YET no matter how I tried. My droid crashed easier... and I don't like to talk about my iphone experiences.... it brings out a bad side.

I now have a Nokia N8, since selling my Nexus One. To be honest, if my Nexus One had better reception, I would still have that phone, even though I am rather concerned about Google's recent privacy issues.
I think of this Nokia as an alternative, but not a direct competitor to iPhones and Androids. If you want to spend loads of money on data, don't want free maps and want a phone that can't make a call when you are in a pinch, but has AMAZING APPS and a dazzling screen, then go for an iPhone or most of the recent droids out there.
In case it wasn't apparent, I prefer droids over iPhones... when a phone forces you to use only its connectors and the "rules" around itunes... I get a headache...
For me, I can do with quality over quantity, so I needed a more stable phone. The Nokia OS seems slow and less attractive when compared to the others out there, but I prefer it for daily use. All that has to happen now is for the developers to get a few key alls out for it, not dozens... and I am converted for now... The look of the OS can be changed over time, but to say I rather a better looking phone/os over a more stable one would make me kinda shallow...
I really see Nokia as going after a different segment and is doing a pretty good job so far.
Just my opinion.

this phone hav plus and minus side.
for me for daily use this phone can satisfied me :)
it sometimes hang and lag a little but nevermind I can live with that :)
