Hi, I still have a couple of question about the N8
1) can you view documents from microsoft office 2000 or HIGHER on it (yes I still use it from time to time)?
2) If you don't have 3g or wifi connection, can you use ethernet cable and connect to the internet via the micro usb?
3) is there a link with the Voice command/dial in action?

when i first used the phone for 30 mins, i was like "hmm it's just one of hte smart phones" but when i strated to use the features, i honestly felt like i am an owner of a top-notch tech device... that fricking awesome camera n video, amazingly good gps, cool fm transmitter n radio... after putting a 32gb card, i feel as if i am carrying a computer harddrive with me (50 gigss)....

This what i do: copy some mp3 which had no album cover to pc and use ovi music/player to edit tag and add cover album. I think there is no option to edit by the phone,lets hope nokia will bring it back on next update. :-)

i m in love with this phone.. like seriously.. it can improve on a few things nonetheless.. portait keyboard, search option in the music player, a few more apps that dont depend on internet (i.e. preloaded facts in amazing facts app instead of relying on net), n ability to pinch in zoom in out for all things...

iv had the phone since 25th 10 days. I have charged the battery from flat to full 3 times and it last me atleast 2 days sometimes more and i spend bout 4to5 hours a day on the net facebook youtubdm and 4to6 hours on other features like calls texts and music player. Iv had no problems so please stop posting BULL S***

who you kidding? Nokia don't know how to release a phone without bugs pal and the N8 is no exception. The internet is full of videos and posts showing just how bad S^3 is at the moment. You all will be lucky to get updates that will stabilize the damn thing, trust me been there this is N97 all over again. 2 years on the N97 is still in need of serious updates which I doubt they ever will manage coz the phone is so under powered.
I have used both Iphone 4 and N8 for about 2 weeks a piece. I was a Nokia user for many years until the N97 drove me away. Apple have simply out smarted Nokia. Was on the Nokia support discussion earlier and already people are sharing information on how to do hard resets for the N8 coz there's that many users needing to do a reset. I have been using the HTC desire for almost a year now never have I had to do a hard reset nor even force a shut down, don't even know how to reset it. I've only got 12Mb of memory space left but the phones runs fine. I totally refuse to use Nokia phones coz I take out 12 month contracts by the time the phone can be classified stable, I'd be due an upgrade, a waste of my hard earned money. Remember the N97? problems galore and still no sign of that 3.0 update

i've never had a problem with mine not sure what you are doing with your phone
if you want it faster turn off the transitions
my phone as never hung yet since friday when i picked it up
NFS:Shift runs smooth same as angry bird and galaxy under fire
and i have aswell 16gb MicroSD as well
no problems at all
when i recived it from the store
it had only 2bars of battery
i was able to take 20 pictures
with flash
set up my gps and use it for 20 minutes
set up and download the updated social client
retrieve my email from hotmail and gmail
and still listen to music for 2 hours before it died
and this was from 5pm - 930pm........

Keep on hanging and hanging when performing simple tssk . As other had said Nk 3310 chubby still better when making a decent call and sms are concerned. It not smart but at least it perform the basic thing what a phone should do......MAKING AND RECEIVING CALL

Symbian^3 is still below Android and iOS usability standards (especially camera UI and web browser)
This has been tagline for every s^3 phones. N8 is slow and unresponsive too.

Forget about the Hard Reset. How many times i need to perform this damn Hard Reset . Good smartphone dont need Hard Reset frequently. Selling my n8 and getting E72. if a phone keep on hanging and cant perform a simple thing by just making a call, than what a @#¥€ is this than.

N8 it has worst Battery life any Nokia phone i ever had since E66 with same problem. The battery go down 90% in 24 hours with light use. Crazy. Waiting to change the phone when Blackberry 9780 come out soon.
