so should i say from your explanation: skype already at symbian long time ago, but now it can't support video call anymore?

Still does the job really well after two years. Even though it's Symbian which is discontinued, it still has lots of great features. I'll continue using this phone for at least one more year and then maybe upgrade to a Lumia, unless the N8 still rocks in 2014.

Amazing phone for all the features combined on one single piece of equipment, but this LOW MEMORY ON C message washes off all the good things about this phone. You have to be constantly deleting all the e-mails, text messages that take out memory, to the point that some times the phone will lock up and will not even take phone calls. Also, the screeen keyboard is so small, I cannot type a single text message without making mistakes... forget about sending an e-mail... quiet a nightmare... will definetly go back to real key phone.

arsam, 15 Jun 2013it is slower it has only 256 mb ram and and a singal co... moreyou know, its a 2010 stuff in 200 dollars or less. of course there is a flaw. iphone, blackberry, wp, android have a flaw too. but after all, this is the best you get with that budget

it is slower
it has only 256 mb ram and and a singal core of 600 mhz so it is not a speedy mobile
bt it has 12 mp camera which is great

And for 1000000 time it has been said that symbian has skype. It had skype even before android was born, through fring app, back then videocalling was posible. Now original skype app is avaible since ever... BUT... Does NOT support videocalling but only voice calling. So for all you symbian users. Get over it, Skype will not make it happen, not know after all the kicks symbian recieved. So no skype videocalling is possible and i'm 90% sure there will never be one released in the future either.

its gonna serve me for years to come.. Ya its not gud for gaming in cmparison wid androids... But who has so much time to waste on games on a screen..! Rest of the requirmnts r totally fulfilled... Belle refresh is gud n abt this phone....

screen size ,easy ti handle,ideal
camera ,superb(click photo of a running fan n u'll get to knw wat carl zeiss n xenon n sensor n lens n 12mp does...)
connecting featurs very very gud..
N the price so reasonble..
Love this phn, i have almost no rzn to change to windows or androids..may b for change sake someday..but this phn is perfect..

I even posted a comment about nokia "idiocracy" on the crappy lunch forum of ios (which got deleted, by the way). UNBELIEVABLE how so old futures(but futures of a real smartphone)are ADVERTISED AS NEW? Nokia had them all and abandoned the only real Mobile OS. Am still offended of the crap i see everyday in this days. Just makes me sick and tired of it. I think the n8 will be my last smart. I will look for other hobbies. This one is now for sheep's and oil-snakes...
