I hacked my N8 and installed MobileCleaner and RscCleaner... Now I have 97MB of free space on my C drive. Non critical apps and games (100+ of them) are on the E drive. The phone still runs great. I agree about the keyboard, right now I'm using alphanumeric keyboard with T9 so it's easy to type. Most touch screens are a nightmare for text input anyway. And iOS and WP don't even have alphanumeric keys as an option.

But please don't mistakenly understood the fact that 256 MB RAM & 680 MB Processor on Symbian are about enough to run N8 quite smoothly. Because as we are all aware Symbian has never been a power hungru OS; on the contrary it is resoure optimesed and battery efficient OS - unbeatable.
If you run Android with 256 MB RAM & 680 MB Processor then you will know what I'm talking about - Android will be much Slower, lagier, and buggier than Symbian.

for ram 256 MB is enough for belle Because It's a sleek OS Not So Much Ram Eater like android
and originally It have 772 MHz cpu Downclocked To 600 MHz So don't worry About speed
It's not as fast as snapdragon s4 cpu but far better Than quad core micromax mobiles....

Still does the job really well after two years. Even though it's Symbian which is discontinued, it still has lots of great features. I'll continue using this phone for at least one more year and then maybe upgrade to a Lumia, unless the N8 still rocks in 2014.

Amazing phone for all the features combined on one single piece of equipment, but this LOW MEMORY ON C message washes off all the good things about this phone. You have to be constantly deleting all the e-mails, text messages that take out memory, to the point that some times the phone will lock up and will not even take phone calls. Also, the screeen keyboard is so small, I cannot type a single text message without making mistakes... forget about sending an e-mail... quiet a nightmare... will definetly go back to real key phone.

it is slower
it has only 256 mb ram and and a singal core of 600 mhz so it is not a speedy mobile
bt it has 12 mp camera which is great

And for 1000000 time it has been said that symbian has skype. It had skype even before android was born, through fring app, back then videocalling was posible. Now original skype app is avaible since ever... BUT... Does NOT support videocalling but only voice calling. So for all you symbian users. Get over it, Skype will not make it happen, not know after all the kicks symbian recieved. So no skype videocalling is possible and i'm 90% sure there will never be one released in the future either.
