I have been using N8 about 4 weeks now. I think that this is best phone Nokia have been ever made.
Really, there is no laging. Of course if you plenty of apps in backround phone gets slower (because this this does real multitasking).
Display is good, very sensitive (not as sensitive as Iphone, but very close). For calling N8 is better that Iphone, speaker is loud and voice is very clear. And N8 (radio) sensitivity is better that Iphone.
Only really disadvantage at the moment is browser, it's out of date. Someone could say that UI is out of date, I think it's matter of taste.

HD cam/vid loved that.. only they need to improove upon quality of features nokia provides.
I like ericsson mobiles quality. The sound,the cam, quality is better.
better wait till ericsson comes with HD vid/cam 8mpx++ features and android os. exactly same features or more as N8 has.
Symbian OS really sucks. dont know why nokia peoples didnt use their Maemo OS for this .. or better android

Bought this yesterday.Had the N97mini & Bold BB 9700,I'm a phone crazy guy,keep changing them every 6months,also had the E72.If you guys want a qwerty key pad then go for E72,its a great phone but if u want a good multimedia device,N8 is just awazing don't believe the bad comments.They are just some bloggers who are working for some other brands.

is it only me, snonre, n8 user, wheez and dan who is happy with the purchase?? i used an xperia before n8..its a good phone too, but this is something else.. much more applications in the market of android, but % 80 of them are useless, like, fart applications, ringtones etc.. never had a lag or restart.. i prefer to browse the web with my n8, than my laptop...
