John, 02 Nov 2010So what ?? Every phone have these specifications ! Summ... moreIf you really think most phones have those specs you don't know much about phones. There are quite a few things there that you cannot find on any other phone.

Here is one more of those "only on N8" things that isn't already listed: Dolby Digital Plus Surround.

Amazing phone for the pros, H/W is good and with teh latest announcement for QT, it makes the phone future proof with hopefully revised and improved new features and UI.

QWERTY KB in portrait is a must have, but somehow is not implemented.

I have embraced Symbian after using wm5.0, 6.1, 6.5 & Android 2.1 and certainly the multitasking and battery life is what sets it apart.

I've had many reliable Nokia's in my time so that's the reason I've gone for this lovely phone and its simply gorgeous in every way. It's looks, the feel, the smooth screen and the videos are outstanding! the camera is amazing. Making and receiving calls are excellent as is texting in alphanumeric-although a tadge harder as keys have been moved-but damn good.

I've also found contrary to popular belief, that it's battery and processor are as good as any other smart phone, indeed as any other phone I've had.
Yes, I'm a proud owner of the N8

                            i have tested it

new beta ovi maps 3.06 with pinch zoom and camera is out of this world! Unrivalled for the next two years!
Save me money to buy compact digicam and garmin/tomtom gps device.

Euro 370 plus tax is not a lie in my place

                            build quality is excellent,

                            hdmi usbotg are just bonuses

mulitasking is not as good as maemo5, but it is acceptable and fast enough to run ten apps at the same time

music playback quality compete with ipod touch

very thin actually and very light weight

[deleted post]I bought it and using the same from last 4 weeks and its working perfectly fine....i dont know which phone u bought or from where...buy orinial nokia N8 and not the chinese version of N8.

I dn knw why the hell people saying N8 is bad or etc etc

The only thing which makes it bad is ovi store and nothing else. and ovi store is bad because application & games are very limited & most of the applications & games require network connection when we open the same.
