Battery life good,active power saving mode,video player has no issue but itz vid.editor,browser,itz gonna b ok with new firmware !

Its fair to say that;
Nokia never make an all in one device, the speaker is of very cheap quality in a very high end phone, why? nokia has the answer... and we have to live with it.
In my opinion it would have been too good if N8 would've had the same speakers as the C7 has.
The camera cant shoot objects closer than 6 inches no matter what ever the macro setting is...
Most irritating is the speaker, just a tiny speaker for this beautiful phone wtf*** and the rewiew made by speaker test of gsmarena is not fair at all.
any one who does not agree give a try to c7 speakers!!!

1)use closeup mode during close pics, 2)blurred results gets when the capture key is hard to press 3) better if we use selftimer 4 closeup mode 4) the plastic cover on d lens should b removed (N8)

please answer me with my problem.i have nokia n97 and for using gps data and maps it takes few minutes to star gps data and showing my loction in map.is it fixed in nokia n8?becauese last week i user iphone 3gs and it was too fast in gps and map.thanks alot

nokiaN8 hardware and operating system are light weight, symboan can earn nokia money, because the little ram and low speed arm cpu can work almost perfect on symbian, nokia can lower their phone price, hence thier low end, mid eng phone marketshare is always unbeatable, for the high end, meego is progressing in the right direction and very well, keep your eyes for 2q next year

I bought this fone a week ago.....till now I have faced no problems.....there are a few lacks in the fone but...its worth the price.....

Is its camera can take a good picture in close range? Because most of nokia camera can't do it, it blur when take picture like small word writen on cigarete box.

•No office document editing (without a paid upgrade)
•Video player has some issues
•Battery life is not on par with best in the business
•Battery is not user-replaceable

Wow! The n8 is finally here in stores in nigeria! The galaxy s is still selling for 25% more than the n8s release price! I'm got mine last week on monday but returned it. I asked for a green one, they sent me a silver.

I love it too. The video camera is super cool :-) My buddy has the Galaxy S from Samsuns. It too is a nice device but the N8 takes nicer better focused videos. We are busy comparing them right now :-)

vt, 30 Oct 2010guys just brought this phone.everything is fine but my gps ... moreRegarding Ovi Map, you must have internet line to locate your position, thus map/search will show you where and distance to go. (WAP 3G insufficient power to run the GPS system).
Ovi is built in GPS but need support by internet line to full fledge running...like any other GPS system that u need to buy.
Ovi map also can run with WIFI, bcoz that the hp can run Ovi in the hp shop bcoz wifi is there. When go home Ovi unable to locate you.
So....subscibe internet line...

Its again NOKIA did what it failed to improve from years...That solution to HANGING Problem...in there SYMBIAN Platform....
I Bought N8 with all my Pocket Money n now i Tottaly understand its useless to spend so much on NOKIA ...Same hanging Problem In N8 too...
I Wish NOKIA Still have little Time to Improve itself and Come Counter ANROID else our child 'll know there was a Phone his Dad used to use called NOKIA

In another 40 votes, the N8 will be the most voted phone on the forum! And that in exactly ONE month after its release. Further, the N8 had a averige score of 8 before it got released and now it went up to 8.5 !
