S . SUDHAKAR, 11 Jun 2013I am using Nokia AC-8E charger (not the one that came with ... moreIs your phone anywhere near a radio or other electronic device while it is charging? Does it happen when you plug the charger in your wall socket away from your PC or TV? I've seen this happen with ZTE, HTC, and it seems all other phones can have it too. Strangely, I tried charging a ZTE via USB on my PC and it was acting weird, but my N8 has no problems. An explanation from the internet says...
"It's due to a combination of fluctuations in line current which translate into variances in the voltages being supplied to the battery, and any lack of proper filtering of that charging voltage by lower quality chargers, coupled with the battery current draw which also fluctuates as it's charging. These variances all confuse the circuitry that monitors capacitance levels of the digitizer surface and fools it into thinking your finger is somewhere it is not or thinking it's moving."

hani, 10 Jun 2013after using Galaxy S4 for 2 weeks, Still can't leave my nok... moreif you said so then my love story with n8 probably will last longer. i am not gamer and handphone browser. if that the only one s4 better than n8, then i have no reason to buy it.
for me n8 is the cheapest phone. if i calculate, this phone come in 2010, almost 3 years ago in (4 million rupiah) but still stand out compete with 2013 blackberry z (5,5 million rupiah), samsung s4 (7 million rupiah), sony z (6,5 million rupiah), iphone 5 (7 million rupiah). in 2010 i have this phone, other have other phone. in 2013 i still have this phone, other change their phone. quite nice investment!

S . SUDHAKAR, 11 Jun 2013I am using Nokia AC-8E charger (not the one that came with ... morei don't know the other but my n8 charger is AC 15 E. and there is a NOKIA write in the side. the charger is thin and not heavy, the cable is long, thick but flexible.

I have had my N8 for the past year and a half and all of a sudden my phone starts to switch off automatically without warning. it works fine without a sim-card but as soon as i put my sim in the phone, it switches off. i love NOKIA'S but this phone was down right disappointing.

no nothing to post.... ;-) just checked iphone 4s daily intrst.. Ha ha ha its 19 n n8 is 32 lol it feels gud ....rrrrrocks , icrap.. N n8 maps navigation is superb with voice assistance ,used it ystrday ...the cute voice of this girl tells u every twist n turn on the road.... N ya u also dnt feel lonely with this voice assistance..lol ,now i got a girlfrnd in my mobile.... ;-) the one that i can shut up ha ha ha.... OK I KNW TOO MUCH TALKING!! niggar, 10 Jun 2013is there anywhere i can take my Nokia N8 for repairs as it ... moretry to contact nokia care, they will examine your phone and tell you where your phone broken for free. if they ask you a cost to repair too much, tell them you need your parents or partner consideration. after that, go to unauthorized dealer and ask them to repair what nokia care tells to you. it will save your cost significantly. the more quicker you examine your phone the more little cost you have.

hani, 02 Jun 2013I have both galaxy s4 and nokia n8... galaxy is better in t... moreafter using Galaxy S4 for 2 weeks, Still can't leave my nokia n8, in addtion to what I said in my previous post GPS navigation and maps are much better, more easier in nokia n8 than GS4 .... in GS4 I tried many programs for GPS navigation non of them was as Nokia maps ... I'm downloading a new navigation program now called mapfactor (I hope to be equal to nokia maps).... I tried Sygic but it's not free, tried navfree (no middle east maps).... my openion still nokia N8 is much better than GS4 in camera, Tv-out, Fm radio and fm transmitter and GPS-navigation .... the GS4 is little better on the internet ... much better in games

When I put my Nokia N8-00 to charge (USB or power adaptor) and use the phone, the touch function is not working properly. When I remove (or switch off) the charger, it is working normally.
Any problem in my phone?.

i would like to ask your opinion about buying 808, as you know from previous conversations we had the lowest price i found so far is 399. I can give also (offer for these days) my N8 for 100 Euro but its a very painfull decision!!! (consider that my N8 is a little bit injered_2 years of use). Have a nice day, take care, greetings :)

whatever these other brand fanboys say but one thing is for sure that aluminium frame of n8 feels vry good to ur hand ...its a class apart,i dnt knw how gud or bad is htc as a brand but i like its htc one also..its a gud luking aluminium frame phone.. But n8 is gr8..the camera the sound the wei8..n8 is gr8.. ;-)

Your phone will tell you about what updates are available for downloads. These ongoing updates from Nokia since 2010 has made your N8 feels like a brand new phone in 2013. Enjoy your Masterpiece.

Aj, 10 Jun 2013my backlight on ma N8 goes off when i make a call....please... moreIt has to do that otherwise you'd dial something with your ear. But, seriously, if you are using screen protector take it off and wipe the proximity sensor (near the front camera), maybe it's not clean. Also you can quickly unlock your phone with the slider when it goes black, does it help? If it doesn't, there might be some other problem...
