battery drains fast...not even 1 day...i use moderate amount of games and internet.

Carol, 05 Jun 2013In most times this is a motherboard failure. Maybe somethin... moreit is just showing nokia. immediatly the fone on. when the screen is still black. its not white. just that black nokia boot screen

They do it via SMS and you just have to save them. Or maybe go to the operator website using your PC and look for settings there. I don't know about the others but my operator has an option to send network settings to a phone number, right from their website.

Riya, 04 Jun 2013I'm not able to see many images on gallery. I stored many i... morei have same problem too, you can move your picture to the picture folders or phone memory section. just try to move anywhere/anyfolder until the picture come in.

Anyway, you can try to disassemble it one part by one and see if start's with some part's missing. First, if you have any, take out the memory card. And continue with sim card, then the upper part of the body, then the antenna (buttom). Look if there is something broken... charger connector, antenna connector and so on. Take out the battery for a minute then plug it back in and try again without upper and lower part of the phone. If it still doesn't work there is only one device to disassemble and that will be the flash and maybe the camera to. Anyway, when you get here and still no sign of life... your motherboard can be pretty much kaput. Anyways, pay attention on the part where first felt on... maybe you find some broken parts. Anyway, don't get to many high hopes, though it can be still just a minor bug... Another question: Everything works well at the boot up. I mean, if you keep the power button 8 seconds pressed it vibrates 3 times? Also, when boots it's just showing Nokia or it's showing a white screen. or is loading but never enters the system?

pleas I need help; my nokia n8 fell from a height of 1feet; ever since it has been hanging on d nokia logo when it wants to boot; I have tried flashing but it didn't work and am suspecting it is a hardware problem; PLEAS HELP ME OU; I have taken it to repair shops but none could do it; I told them am suspecting the boot ic was damaged;but they don't know were the ic is; PLEAS HELP ME TO Know what's WRONG; tnx

Please check the file name of the images For example
The images which are displayed in gallery has name as
2013-05-13.Jgp
And the images which are not displayed as the name as
2013-05-13.Jpg.Nomedia or 2013-05-13.nomedia.Jpg Or 2013-05-13.n.jpg
So you can remove that Nomedia or n from the name of the file by simply doing rename of the file.
This can be done using file manager.
I hope you are good enuf to rename any file.
Also if the issue is not resolved you can re install the phone software using nokia suite.. It is quite easy Just install the nokia suite

I'm not able to see many images on gallery. I stored many images on my memory card but galler shows only old images, it refresh but does not show new photos. Whats the matter? Sorry for bad english

They should all be the same price regardless of color. On Amazon, the pink ones have been offered for sale for $499.95 for AGES. Since last year, only two were sold (from 19 in stock to 17) Nobody is buying them and they will not drop the price for nothing. Well, they can remain in the sellers hands forever!

Ova, 03 Jun 2013strange to me, i always want n8 pink edition. but because t... moreI agree with you - I will NEVER buy a second hand phone. I really wanted the N8 so I walked and walked hoping to find a blue, grey or silver. Only two stores had it in stock and both had only the rose pink which is just too colorful for my eyes. At $225.00 C'dian including tax, I was not leaving it! I never regretted buying it. It is a great phone. By the way, the other store wanted $300.00 not including tax.
