I really dun understand. Each model of phones has its own forum for the users to post their opinions on the phone..i.e if N8 then just review about N8 will do..why do ppl post comment bout Iphone, Samsung, SE..bla bla bla..which OS is better, Android, Symbian, Bada...watever man..each of those has their own forum, why post it here???This forum is N8 so talk about N8!

People confused between n8, desire, and iphone4, should go for n8.
People buy iph for screen and games. N8's screen is not equivalent, but it won't make u sad, its good enough and you'll not be able to observe resolution scarcity. Games like nfs shift, asphalt 5, avatar, hero of sparta etc will drive u crazy with graphics equal to i4.
Desire is a good phone again, android drives people crazy with looks and usability. But s3 is not bad, fit for power users, not visually lovable but quite fast and great to work with. The internet update on s3 should steal all the plusses from desire.
Only regret for this phone would be that its not future proof. S4 updates with better ui can be a bit of problem. The os is light but i guess its soon gonna get heavy. With iphone price is a big problem in india, it costs almost two n8's round here, so totally not an option for me.

i can understand why people buy galaxy s, the screen, hd etc. but why buy an iphone? you cant even make normal calls.. i am 39, and have an N8..so far, so good.. i dont care about the os or other staff.. i bought it just because it looks great and call quality is superb

tried the n8 out today, nokia should stick with non touch screens. total let down.. really wanted to buy the n8.. i'll wait for the next nokia flagship

Nokia didn't make/ design it for kids for it to be Eyecandy..I guess other mobiles are just made ofr catching the eye..Its a pity it works.. Proof Android and Iphone users.

Realy i have to say now nokia is doing very bad. N8 is worst fone. Totaly waste of money fone. I used to nokia fone. I used 5800 n95 8gb. I sold my n8 today and baught htc desire. And i can say Android is Best OS. Ane Desire is best fone overall. Android Roks. Symbian 3 worst.

It can ALMOST (I LIKE TO STATE HERE THAT I USED THE WORD "ALMOST") can rival the Galaxy S and samsung wave which has a much larger capacity. And the test are not standardized cause they used different functions on different phones

You guys always talking about the eye candy... tsk tsk tsk... Why do you keep forgetting that Symbian has a thousands of themes out there with new sets of icons. These are not idiot-OS (IOS) or fraud (froyo) so that no matter what theme you choose, you'll have to look at the same icons. In any Symbian set all you need to do is to choose a theme that you like and it changes the icons as well. Even if you can't find a theme which you like and at the same time changes your icons, just go to www.owntheme.com and create your own themes with animated wallpapers (optional) and new icons (optional). You anti-nokias are crazy. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeeeeeee, think before you talk. And if you can't do that, go back to your own pages where nobody listens to you. BTW, thanks for visiting N8 pages everywhere and making it the most popular mobile phone of the year (I believe that there are more N8 haters visiting in N8's page than N8 lovers).

Those who praise Nokia obviously never had an Android 2.2 Froyo device. It's so much better that it leaves Symbian in the dust. Had a bunch of Nokia's myself but now I say: Nokia never again. This is my honest opinion.
