1) Send it to ur nearest nokia care centre and have them chang for u (recomended)
2) Buy the battery and a TORX screwdriver and do it urself

Dear users/experts kindly clarify my doubt.. Does the N8 battery is exchangeable.. Once the battery life is gone after a yr use means, can we able to change the battery like other nokia phones or else the mobile has to be changed.. Kindly clear it.. Thanx in advance..

I did not have the chance to test it as I pre-ordered mine and it was not out to play with in any shops in my city (UK). Only a dummy model

Tha... moreI have justed tested that antennae issue on the N8 that I am sending back today and yes the signal does drop when held sideways in that way. But not all the way so it would not drop calls, plus you wouldn't hold your phone that way when on a call anyway so there really is no issue there.

After waiting so long for this phone I then get a faulty one! I thought the reason we were waiting was to fix the bugs so it was right first time.
Yes I am sending it back and its staying back. I gave Nokia a chance and it failed.
I am annoyed as I have to start my research again for the right phone for me as for months before its release I was sure this one was

Read through the post's going back months -I've been supporting this phone months before its release and am a long time Nokia fan. The fact is that my N8 did NOT deliver. It is buggy and feels unfinnished. It crashes everyday and things don't work properly on it at times.
I have noticed that it mainly crashes when you go on the interent on it for more than about 20/30 minutes- flicking to different pages etc, which I can see that alot of people wouldn't do so prob will not have come across this bug.
I am not trolling just sharing my personal experience with the phone so others can can make an informed decision.
Google it and see that others have experienced the same. And yes some people's phones are fine

I got my n8 on oct 12th and yesterday the phone started to hang everytime i slide lock the phone. God only knows whats wrong. Anyways nokia care india said they'll replace it, so i'm glad that they are atleast taking problems seriously.
