Most N8 users are probably currently using Opera.
There is a way to make the stock browser fast. Turn off javascript. Most well designed sites work nicely without it and the browser loading and rendering become really fast.

Very poor cpu nothing new in menu system 12 mega pixelnot seems to be good.Nokia n 8 restart hang problem .

In concurrence with previous reports, N8's screen performs extremely well in direct sunlight and outdoors. As said by Rishi, the light sensor helps in this regard by pushing up the brightness in outdoor conditions, and vice versa, pulls it down indoors and in the dark. As you might have seen in screen comparisons with iPhone in the dark the N8's screen looks dull and dark, this is because the light sensor decides correctly that a lower level brightness is good enough in that condition. This also helps increase the battery's overall output per charge.

I never said higher resolution is better, I said higher resolution requires more RAM and processor power.
N8 supports divx and xvid... a lot of other encoders to enhance the quality of HD videos.

Symbian is programmed through C++ with qt support.
Android is programmed straight from Lynux, same goes for MeeGo.
But all these OS, same with iOS is programmed with webkit and eclipse.
People want higher RAM and processor, not just because of the OS or games, but also smooth web browsing experience as well as playing HD video. In addition, higher RAM and processor can support higher resolution screen.
Would you buy the N8 because of the Camera w/ Xenon or Symbian^3?
Would you buy i9000 Galaxy S for 5mp camera with no LED flash or because of Android 2.1 (update to Froyo)?
Symbian^3 is a light OS, but it may not be enough to some users.

Jeremy, I did have this issue... but it was more to do with Nokia Messaging than Gmail. I was unable to import my old Gmail account that I was using on the N86, but new Gmail accounts were working fine. I deleted my old Gmail account from my N86 but this did not seem to solve the problem... however, when I tried again next day I was able to add the account to my N8.

You can't really compare the Satio with the n8. Satio is using the older symbian. Is in the same class as the n97. Nice but no thanks.
