it is very lovely phone i am waiting for this type of phone from 2007, the waiting is over and phone is in my hand now i will do every thing in my phone.

no white light on for video recording only night light. I'm sure some days a programmer will add this feature on. As u can see. even a real portable camera/video cam didn't even have this feature because it will cosume battery life. Just answer me , do you see iphone or android phone that will turn light on when recording video? ANSWER: NO!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyone here who knows about N8 video? What about N8 video recording ability in a low-light situations? Does its xenon flash handle this or not just the same as N82?

I got this phone for 1 week. Love the hardware features it has. I've use Iphone 4 and Android G2 and find that Nokia N8 way better then those. I did sold my Ios 4 and G2 out with a small lost. Happy with this N8. Nokia made good hardware. Lighted phone and 12Mp, FM tranmit, Radio, Install Opera 10.1 beta 2, run faster browser then Iphone and Android. Game blazing in 3D with open gl 2.0. Way better then Iphone and Android, do depressed to get Androi and Iphone. Worst is the iphone (no Memory slot, and low camera) N8 got best Xenon flash for taking picture. U will never reget to get N8. that is why Nokia phone is always most expensive phone out there then any other phone for it's exellent quality and features.
