It's pro... moreOke, don't see the point in your reply...I followed this device across the web for months and know pretty much everything there is to know about it, but, you didn't know that so I'll let it slide. For a user like me there is no other device that can satisfy all my needs. My only problem with it is that its not mine yet, I'm broke as a joke, cant afford a cup of coffee let alone this baby. And if you examine my last post closely you will maybe find deeper meaning, along a few grammatical errors^_^. Hope the information here will have reduced your entropy a little and that my irony had not eluded you :). Cheers!

Sanesh, 19 Oct 2010My nokia N8 battery is not so good, i have to charge it twi... moreDid you charge it for 8 hours at the first time? If yes, then i recommend that you shud change your battery or return ur phone in exchange of a new unit. Hope this helps

I think your wifi is on constantly.
I was facing same problem yesterday.
But after I switched it off it works fine.

My nokia N8 battery is not so good, i have to charge it twice a day and it is not even 4 days from purchase, please suggest what to do!!!

I installed 'Powermp3' which has 'play folder... morepowermp3: i dont own an N8 yet :(.. its supposed to work, but i cant confirm(im getting N8 next week, so then i can ^^)
about the photos, if u mean a "slideshow" then i have no idea of any app :D
wat i understood is, you want to organize photos in folders, and view them in folder view... its been a while since i used "photo browser" (9 months ago)... its in nokia's beta labs i think.. anywayz it displays "all" photos, you c groups and groups of photos, between each group there is a "small space"... each group represent a folder as far as i remember... i know its not good enough, but meh atleast its something :)..
if ur interested in photography, then N8 it is, not only coz of the Xenon and excellent camera specs..
but coz of the portability, and it does takes pic quick(relatively... compared to other phones)

Yeah, I still remember a few months ago Nokia hatters criticizing the N8 as been a 'dead end' cell because it will be the only Nokia phone to use s3 and Nokia is abandoning the Symbian and all that crap . . . WHERE are they now? He He He N8 RULES full-stop

Also, Nokia is not abandoning Symbian. Future N series phones will be running Meego, but other phones will run Symbian. Not everyone needs or wants the highest end phone.

You talk of apps. I guess it would take more than your worth of common sense to know that apps on symbian are now written with Qt which means they are compatible with s^3, s^4 and meego devices. Give ovi till next month. You'ld be surprised. Now, Who is dumb?

M using this phone from last 5 days and had great experience , excellent phone.
But the ovi store do not have much apps, and i installed angry birds later after i completed all 6 stages message appears please subscribe to this link i subscribed, i recieved a mail too but now what stages still same :(
Any body has any idea what to do next?

I've had the phone for less than a week shipped from abroad, sad to say it has been taken from me by force by 2 strangers in Quiapo after I attend the mass... :(
