[deleted post]You know, when i look at Samsung, Motorola, HTC and the SE's, I have just this thought in my head lately. It's like this. Any of you guys watched Stargate SG1? I am sure that those that did will be pretty much know what the Goual (However you spell that!!!) where about. Thats what they remind me of. On the outside they are this human beings but on the inside they are actually controlled by some other foreign creature. Rip the creature out and the host dies. They cannot survive without it. Just like a leach. Shame, they need others to survive. If that fails then there is always some other to scavange off....but at least samsung is trying...maybe with copied software though!!

Some buying suggestions...1) those who love symbain os they can easily go for n8 because now it is improved retaining some of the old good features which we love. ...2) those who want high quality camera phone n8 is the best they can get in market now. ....3)this is not a phone to buy for those who want best smart touch phone. They can go for android os which are available in samsung htc or motorola. Dont go for sony ericsson because they are one step behind in
Implementing latest os. ...4)this is not the phone to buy for those people who want stable dependable smart phones . They can go for sony ericsson smart phones because their quality control is very good. So they dont give latest technology to market without robust testing.so they are always one step behind. Next options is samsung smart phones with android os. And dont forget apple iphone they are in different league in pricing and quality .... 5)those who want completely technologically user involving touch phone with good mix of smart os + great multimedia+ great camera + best hardware+ latest connectivity + reasonable price then NOKIA N8 is for you.....enjoy...... But one thing beware of software bugs in latest release..

This is basically a camera phone with some updated os features. So there will be less bugs. But like all new nokia phone there will be lot of bugs which will be corrected one by one by software updates. But this process takes almost a year. So now new buyers have to suffer. I think most suffered users are of nokia 5800. I think n8 users also may face the same problem but good thing is they can showoff their new camera phones and enjoy that brillant camera.

Anyone who might think that Symbian3 experience is really a bit letdown should check the following link for the SPB Mobile Shell, which to my mind looks perfect on N8 - http://nokiaexperts.com/nokia-n8-handson-spb-mobile-shell-37/

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2010Nokia N900 is better than N8I have N900. i am using it for 9months and it is fine. but as you know it is neglected from Nokia ( no such a major up-date ) besides we were waiting for MeeGo, but this also seems not promising. N900 is very powerful devise and MUST be taken care of it regularly.

Maemo group/Team are doing very wonderful jobs & efforts to make the Maemo alive & not dead but hope to see a support from Nokia it self in order to give the N900 it real rights. it deserves.. ;)

                                    Regards
