I bought n8 when it came to release in my city calicut, kerala,India 5 days ago..
the second day it has speaker problem..
now i hav a n8 without speaker... its gone by the way....
nokia will replace my soon... it takes time... hope next n8 will b better...

I've been using Nokia phones from last 15 years and hence from this year I suddenly switched on to iPhone.
Then I decided that all Android mobiles (HTC & Sony Xperia, Samsung Galaxy) & Iphone 3GS & iPhone4 are king of real touch & applications...
Symbian is like an old story now, maybe just the look of applications is new in N8 but the back end technology is the same.. as we all know that Nokia 5800 & X-6 were a big flop and still Nokia couldn't find a solutions for their software bugs.. apart from the tough and stupid touch in all Nokia touch phones.
I opened and used a brand new N8 and was surprised to see that its touch has same issues like 5800 & X-6, was stucking and not soft as I felt.
I request you all not to waste your money on buying N8 and go for Android or iPhone... if you don't believe then better ask your friends or any good mobile phone service center for a better opinion. Buying N8 is like throwing your money.
Whereas I give a hats off to Samsung for making soft touch mobile even in their cheap touch phones.

Ur just making the phone more popular btw. :) Like nokia's N8 slogan, its not technology, is what you do wit it. I like the 12mp cam to take great pics, i like the hdmi port to connect to my hd tv, i like the USB OTG for my pendrives and i certainly like the new symbian^3

You are not changing our minds so dont burst a vein in your head trying. You see, from what i've seen from 2 x10's, i wont waste my time with it. Just eyecandy as i said. I dont want only that. If i want that there's SPB mobile shell. Its awesome. It makes the phone very much similar to android and the likes. Works smoothly even with its low processor. Heck, it works well with the 5800. Now scurry along and go and charge your phone. The battery is about to die cos your 1ghz monster is hungry, again. BTW, that is a fact, so dont deny it. My 2 buddies are in my office charging their phone at least twice a day while a dont with my nokia and thats even with the PHONE updates installed!!

IMHO ... moreok now u r contradicting ur own statement. u said before htc desire n xperia x10 n nexus one are all high end phones n should not be compared to nokia n8 as its a high n mid end mobile n that means u admited that nokia n8 is behind all the above mobiles i mentioned n now suddenly u change ur statement n gave a few features n say nokia n8 is better. disgusting
