It's at least loud enough to hurt/feel unc... moreI guess it'll be better if you rather direct all these skeptics who are worried about the speaker sound quality to the latest GSMArena review (i.e. Omnia 7 review). There the guys have done the traditional loudspeaker test and guess what, the N8's got a 'very good' score!

I am currently using E72 , but its for business usage like mails, docs etc.
And h/w qwerty keyboard is a must for any business phones.
As far as myself, E72 is the best mobile came out of Nokia.
But anyway for multimedia use N8 is the better option( camera as well as music ).
Though my E72 is relatively new i pre-ordered N8 in India ( yeah Blue color ;) )

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2010N95 8GB was the best when it comes to its stereo sound syst... morei had the n95 and agree was a great phone at the time but i dont really understand why any phone has to be stereo the speakers are just to close to each other if they was both mono i dont think you would notice any difference

Sam, 12 Oct 2010Any1 among the real user,pls comment on the audio quality f... moreYou don't need to worry about that. For voice calls it's more than enough (clear even in noisy places), for music it's loud but does not have base (base is usually in Xpress Music models).
You can find several comments here and elsewhere about the good quality of the loud speaker. Don't worry about it :-)

A good thing to notice is that the speaker is on the camera bulge and if you want the best sound, you need to turn the device so that the touch screen is against the table/whatever.

[deleted post]You made your point the first time (though I don't think anybody here cares due to your foul language), but why exactly did you take the trouble of repeting it 5 times? You think this way it have a stronger meaning or something?
Think of the possibility that you might have not figured out a certain issue or did something wrong with the phone, there are many experts here that won't mind paying you attention. If none here could help you, I would say the last escape would be exchanging your phone from where you got it, if it's really not working out fine with you I think it's worth returning it and maybe have them deduct some of the money you paid and get yourself another one that you like. Make sure you try it first this time.

You can return the device, it's your right. The problem is though that I'm 99% you don't even own one.

This "example" isnt from myself, but a fellow finnish N8/Galaxy S user. He's a business man of some sort and his clients were always asking when he was calling with Galaxy S whether he was in some tunnel or in some bad reception area and now that he got N8 they've been saying how the call quality really improved.
Certainly nothing to complain about the N8s call quality
