The most important component of a 12 Mpix camera is the man behind it.

Once again, this has now become the samsung wave page!
If its not samsung, its iphone, or htc guys stirring here. Ah well, it all adds to the popularity of this page as someone said below :)

Once Samsung get's their BADA platform going with the advent of plenty of BADA Apps, that will be nice.

Also I stumbled across a GpsMap App for £1.25. But there would only be a small data connection charge anyway for maps downloaded. Unless of course you download the maps to you phone using PC KIES software - if it works.

Then GpsMaps works offline on your phone using only the Internal compass to guide you. Not sure if their are many other GPS map programs but it sure looks ok for the 1st version. But it looks very promising for samsung phones.

I guesse the only problem I here from many people is problems with KIES. Once samsung sort this problem out things should be fine for Samsung users.

[deleted post]You increase the total hits and daily interest, both of which are ranked on the front page and total hits can be found from "Rankings" as well.

N8 is on top of daily interest by over double the hits to the next one (which happens to be a Nokia phone too)

The demo model probably had like 3000 peoples fingerprints on it :D

wave is a clear winner with one ghz processor N8 only can imagine the features.samoled screen, superfast os,grt sound quality n video quality.but at lesser price.dont know why some ppl here are trying to defend n8 with some imaginary points.say some thing which is proven.or i will say stop pretending n buy a wave tomorrow.:)

Yes but how long do you have to wait to get firmware updates to your Wave. Also Samsung have not sorted out many BUGS in their phones as many people are still waiting for their older samsungs to get software updates. Also BADA does not have that many Apps yet. All these vital consideration points before you buy into a phone.

Likewise I have to wait for Nokia updates because bugs take ages to get fixes in the OS by Symbian Debuggers. The problem I have with samsung us customer & product support, small BADA APP Store, free navigation, walk & drive & maps provided you have a data connection tariff.

Otherwise I wouldn't mind buying a samsung phone. But their GPS components are still lower class models. Also samsung should be the ones integrating 16GB or 32GB internal storage capacatiy now since they own their own NAND flash chips whether MLC or SLC.

My Personal opinion about nokia n8:

Hi first of all i am a big true nokia fan untill today.
                                    But nokia let me down.
i was so much anticipated and eager to by nokia n8, today went to book the nokia n8 @ purasavakkam chennai, india.
happen to experience live demo of the retail version.
the camera sucks... what ever spec they have said is true but the color the camera produces is very bad bad,Xenon flash is too bad.
                                    I own a sony c905 8mp camera, i know the pic quality diff.believe me.
Camera itself failed then wats so ever with nokia n8.I am going to buy a android mobile.
                                    Bye bye nokia.
guys think well b4 buying noia n8.

                                      Just a small point.

If you use it while roaming (i.e. outside the UK) then you could be charged a minimum connection fee for each data connection. On Vodafone that's £1, best to check the small print before you set off.

if not mistaken, the data transfered is only a few kilobytes..
