Also, by what logic if N8 exceeded all previous preorder records of Nokia, would the N8 sell SLOWER than the earlier phones? That makes no sense, if it already made a record :D

Also, many people are waiting for the parallel models, E7, C6-01, C7. While the Apple-fans had to get that one single model or wait a whole year for the next iPhone.
Things arnt so black and white. Why do you keep trolling here? Nobody still wants to talk about the god damn iPhone, this is the N8 page!

It can be used as a TV reciever with a set of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVB-H compatible headsets that Nokia will sell.
Also has WebTV that at least in Finland came with a few local channels and then few universal like CNN and Nat. Geo.

And again it doesn't even come close to the phonebook of froyo, froyo adds all the related content of the contact in tabs like the recent photos uploaded, recent posts on Fb n twitter

We all know it's not the prettiest or fastest (although still far from being slow), but we all know it pretty much gives you the most features.
It's all about suits you. I don't give a living crap about having some ms faster UI or whatnot. What I care about is USB OTG and FM Transmitter for example. I also care about the color options and aluminium case, which I can't get from an appstore either.
It's choises, I've made mine, you've made yours. Both are good choises if they just suit us :)

It doesn't perform adequately, some things which i could load on my nexus wasn't available on n8, i tried it out in a nokia gallery, it wasn't comprehensive enough and the speed is quite low, i raced it with my nexus and n8 lost again...
It sure has great hardware, but its slow and not as interesting and graphical as froyo

Anonymous, 10 Oct 2010only if half of nokia lover here order preorder n8, it will... moreI don't know any exact numbers and I'm pretty sure you don't know either, but the N8s preorders exceeded all Nokias own preorder records long before places like India could even preorder them.
Also still, they are releasing them in stages, just cos on the first day it was available only like Finland had em available so it's not really comparable to iPhones way larger release on the certain day.
But please don't start again, we still don't wanna discuss about the iPhone.
