Anonymous, 09 Oct 2010Usually defects are supposed to be encountered few weeks or... moreThe phone was released in some countries for 10 days. So far no any major defects in both software and hardware were reported unlike IPHONE4 antenna's problem popped up promptly after the release.

N8 is very robust, not a single hardware defect at all. The firmware updates just fixed minor things. Today I even got one update.

WP7 Sucks.. It doesnt hav multitasking and sending files via bluetooth..WP7 will die and Symbian 3 rocks..

Ill have it by next week.. I couldn't wait so I just have to have it.. Ill have 2 N8 though the grey one next week and the orange one in Nov hopefully. I will use this one on my ATT plan and the other one on my T-Mo..

Your own figures prove the Noki... moreNot to mention that at least in the "descriptions" some phones have both CPU and GPU mentioned, while N8 has ONLY GPU mentioned. At least Galaxy S and iPhone had the whole CPU/GPU combination named. iPhones numbers seem correct, but Galaxy S definitely isn't right.

N8 is symbian 3, a new Symbian.
Vista was not good, do you mean Windows 7 is flop according to you logic?

[deleted post]Thanks for the speed specs. Your own figures prove the Nokias 680MZ chip outperforms the 1ghz chips in the Moto and Nexux, & iphone! Not sure that your Galaxy S specs is right though. Give me a few minutes to google it.

The reviewer either an idiot or just tried to fool people.
N8 has tons of apps running on background while IPHONE 4 does FAKE multitasking, meaning heavy processes freezing in the background.
In addition, N8 was not release firmware.

Are you really surprised that 1ghz CPU is faster than 680mhz CPU while loading a game up? Really? That however, doesnt resemble normal usage of a phone. Or I dunno about you, but most of the time I'm doing something completely else than loading games up. The N8 can't use it's GPU to load up a game.
