hi rightnow i am using blackberry curve but nokia n8 is best compare to my phone because of camera i think this is nice phone i am really old customer of nokia my first nokia mobile is 3310 which i purchase about 2002 and second mobile is nokia 3200 which i was purchase 2004 feb that time this mobile phone prise is 12699 and u know right now it is still working so i have great phone from great company thank u

Wheez, 09 Oct 2010Personally I like Symbian^3 better than N900s Maemo.I have nothing against Symbian 3. FYI, I am a symbian veteran (you know, hacking, fiddling stuff)! For us the fiddlers, N9 is a better choice IMHO. But I really like the N8 for its design and camera. I'm thus waiting for nokia to announce the N9. If it's that advanced, I might skip N8. But if the camera is just average like the N900, there is always room for a second thought!

n8: 429pounds in uk not sure in dollar
iph4 also available unlock outside US like 499pounds in uk
70pounds different is not so bad

Hi friends i am disopted by N8
i m 2 much awaited for this Mobile so booked it. Today the nokia priorty delr called me to first look the live demo of it,
presently i am using Samsung Wave 8500 and i compaired the two models.
1) Touch sencitvty of n8 is still like the other nokia mobile.
2) i found a pre loaded video of the song "Aaj Ke raat" i copied it to my smasung wave and ply on both ... Samsung Wave a way ahead of nokia.
3) Now abouut the sound i will give 4 out of 10 to Nokia N8 and 9 out of 10 to Samsuung Wave. Its sound from the main speaker is too low.
4) Now about the Camera ... Still the disoptment i put the both cell in auto mode and take a close up of my hand . the pictures from nokia is very dull then make a video of the night trafic but i dont understand why nokia takes too much time to responce of changing light.
The other + pts of nokia is well known to every one

n8 uses cheaper quality glass screen without fingerprint resistant coating like galaxy S or iphone 4

nokia knows it cannot compete with iphone or even samsung galaxy s that's why the n8 is priced much lower than the two units. it aim for the mass market. the problem is will the mass market accept the n8. nokia's app as of now cannot compete with iphone's and android's apps. if they fail nokia should quickly adopt android or windows os.

If ppl hav problem, there is something called 14days return policy in uk and apple has been bankrupted from returns. Most of my mates who got iph4 nvr complain anything too
