Personally I'll rather have an AMOLED screen any day before the iPhones display. For the sole reason of having a screensaver clock and not having to have the whole screen shut down when idle.

And finally don't forget apple spent 200 million b4 2007 to come up with Ios

While N8 is a monster of a cameraphone, the N9 will (supposedly & hopefully!) push all the boundaries of mobile technology. It'll not have N8 quality optics for sure, but the OS itself makes all the difference in the world. If you've ever used N900, you'll know what I mean.

As for 5800 being the worst experience ever. I believe you, didn't own one luckily, but used one and the difference between that and the N8 is planets wide. X6 is abit closer to that experience cos it has a capacitive touch screen, it helps loads already, but Symbian^3 is so many miles ahead of any previous Symbian that you can't make any judgements of the N8 from earlier Symbians. If you do, you're an idiot. OK maybe visual judgement you can make, as it hasnt changed that much on the outside.

Does larger sensor mean sharper images? Look at the leaves of the tree. Which one produce sharper image?

[deleted post]Agreed, but see, it's all about balance. In the end, I'm pretty sure most people are happier with the extended battery life over the few millsecond faster transitions :)
Which reminds me, like 20 hours of standby, 2-3 hours of music playback on speaker, at least one hour worth of web browsing (havnt used it much cos i've been home pretty much all day) and the battery is still at 90%+ :)
