Symbian^3 is miles ahead of any previous Symbian and anyone who tries to say N8 is fail cos of older Symbians, fails.
CPU frequency doesnt say much alone. Just go look at GLBenchmarks, N8 is right up there even with iPhone 4, Galaxy S, EVO 4G, you name it. Each has a different emphasis, but overall all are very even. N8s GPU is alot better than other devices', thats why it can compete even with 680 Mhz (which is underclocked).
To top it off, N8 has better battery life than any of those devices.
But could you iTrolls go to your own forum, we don't wanna discuss a iPhone here. Please?

Imagine a Merc SLK of 2011 edition looking bulkier than the 2007 edition and with lesser engine power!
In the field of electronics, it is imperative that size grows smaller and/or quality gets better.
Honestly, if you compare nokia 5800 to N8 in terms of exterior, what do you see? 5800 has lesser width for the screen of same resolution, which is a No-no, notwithstanding it is amoled, further there is no justification to use a 680Mhz processor while 1Ghz started appearing last year itself!
They ought to be hardworking too you see!
Just check the Docomo line up. We don't have even one mobile phone from any of the top 5 to match up in any given year.

Can we please focus on the N8 again. Just ignore the iPhone fans, a great device but not this is the N8 discussion page, not the iPhoane 4 discussion page.
And as someone posted below me, the FM Radio uses the headphones as it's antennas. Thus, requiring the headphones to be plugged in. Yeah, it's a shame. I wonder why it's still like this? Would figure it would be sufficient withotu the headphones too, but this seems to go unchanged, so maybe its a technical reason behind it.

mk, 09 Oct 2010I ll buy silver. It s gorgeous. N8s silver indeed looks very nice. I personally wanted some difference from usual black/gray phones and went for blue. It certainly gets some attention on the streets :D

Why are you forcing your personal preferences to people? I think the N8s design, looks and materials are alot nicer than those of the iPhone 4. Your opinion isnt a fact, get a grip of yourself, you are pathetic.
Also, why are you here. If the iPhone is so great, I guess it would have daily interest of 95% and not the N8. A great phone doesnt need you trashtalking other phones.
It is a great phone, just not for everyone. N8 isn't for everyone either, but it suits us. We don't want to talk about the iPhone. So please, can't you just go talk with people who WANT to talk about the iPhone?

iPhone 4 hasnt even sold 3 million till this day.
Not to mention how it isnt directly comparable. Nokia has usually 2-3 parallel models, while Apple only has 1 at the time. So the Nokia customers are spread around to several models, while iPhones basically just to one.
N8s parallel models arn't out yet, but neither is N8 in most places.

Simplicity and g8 finish are wht designers stuff all about. Lv handbags print is same for its original design but finish is unrivalled. Most leica camera looks like a box and same deisgn but it is premium. Burberry print is same since its produce. Pls understand wht is good design
