Anonymous, 07 Oct 2010just read this,i am so sorry for all of you nokia lovers e... moreLiar n8 uses regular amoled not theCBD so it can not be compaired to wave in this catogary.
for people who are looking for the best videos and movies experiance on a mobile phone wave is the king only can be compared to galaxy(virtual 5.1 surround sound is supported),and don't forget that wave supports advanced technology called DLNA which give the ability to watch HD movies on your HD tv without the use of any cables.

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2010probably u r in korea that is why you are getting samsung u... moreWave is a great alternative for someone who doesnt want Symbian or Android (iPhone wrestles in a different league of being a trendphone with very little resemblance to smartphones).

If I'd get a smartphone which wasnt the N8, it would probably be the Wave.

No point fighting over which is better, both have ups and downs and people need to make the decision over what fits them the best.

[deleted post]probably u r in korea that is why you are getting samsung updates ;).

Anyway i dont want to waste my energy in criticizing Bada OS.
Number of applications in Bada OS tells the story
or you can check the comparisons between how popular Bada is among the developers.

If you still think Bada kick ass then probably i will agree only when i get a korean GF ;)

And while that Wave poster is totally lost, but so was the one replying to him, the N8 does not have CBD.

DK, 07 Oct 2010Low Power Processor, Low Strength Battery, No Super display... moreI challenge that N8 has better batterylife than whatever you are using.

Also I'd challenge you that the N8 is very even in benchmarks to whatever you are using. Lower CPU yes, but the powerful GPU makes up every bit of it.

[deleted post]just read this,i am so sorry for all of you nokia lovers
eat yourself alive, you do not live in reality.countinue to dreaming
                      . N8 - CPU 680 (A6) vs 1Gz (A8) - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
(booth phones have IDENTICAL GPU = WAVE is FASTER because have GREAT CPU)
But A11-680Mhz consumes less energy than A8-1GHz. If the OS doesn't need the higher spec CPU, why wasting the battery life?
                      2. N8 - Symbian vs BADA (speed test) - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
No, Symbian is a much more established system. Most forecasters say bada will have 0% market share 4 years from now on, i.e., bada will go extinct.
                      3. N8 - NO LED for VIDEO - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
                      Let's wait for the reviews.
The Xenon flash in the N8 will totally kick theh wave's butt in still photography.

                      4. N8 - VIDEO is 25fps vs 30fps (better CPU) - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
If you really need 30fps, then I agree that wave is better here. However, you should also be prepared for the larger file size.

                      5. N8 - old AMOLED vs Super AMOLED (you must see) - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
The N8 uses AMOLED CBD, which according to Engadget is on par with super AMOLED.

                      6. N8 - only 256 mb of RAM vs 512mb - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
Symbian^3 can use 1GB virtual RAM. 1GB VS 512MB. enough said.

                      7. N8 - 1200 battery vs 1500 - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
bada is a resource hog compared to Symbian, no wonder it needs a battery with a larger capacity.

                      8. N8 - NOT have mobile AP - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
The N8 can use mobile AP via app. Additionally, it has direct tethering via USB & Bluetooth, and it also supports ad-hoc networks, does wave?

                      9. N8 - 360 x 640 vs 480 x 800 pixels - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
I agree with you on this. But remember that 480x800 will also comsume more battery.

10.N8 is BIGGER and UGLY and wight 135 g vs 118 - NO CHANCE vs Wave!
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I prefer the N8 and its colour choices.

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2010what are you people talking about.symbian is the poorest op... moreThe poster below me showed how little you obviously know.

Cos there were like 0 cosmetic changes in S^3, all the changes are under the hood.

That being said, you don't talk about Symbian^3, you are talking about S60 5th edition and I can see you've never even used Symbian^3 in your life

[deleted post]I'm having a hard time estimating the degree of stupidity required to believe that bada is actually anything to talk about. I love symbian for simplicity, features and customizability. But bada? its an android wanna be that doesn't top android in any department. You indians and common sense.

what are you people talking about.symbian is the poorest operating system ever made.needs update every day,not week.lagy, slow, restarting several times in day...bada is young operating system, but so powerfull.with bada 2.0 i think that would be best operating system ever made.nokia and they expensive phones are history.symbian 3 is just cosmetic upgrade, nothing more.i,m also so sorry for nokia.samsung will be new number 1
