The N8 is amazing, best phone i have ever used, and i have used alot, and all operating systems out there, and the N8 is the phone i liked most !
NOTE: People, no matter what anyone says, the N8 is the cameraphone king, and the pix it takes are stunning ! the best i saw from a phone till now and i saw alot ! Other than that its the best phone i have ever used.

Microsoft learned why Vista was bad and fixed it for Win7
Nokia learned what had failed with the latest S60 and fixed it for Symbian^3. Symbian^3 is miles ahead in terms of speed, usability and everything compared to any previous Symbian. The reason S60v5 seemed to fail was that Nokia left a backdoor for themselves there, so that if touchscreen devices wouldnt have taken over the smartphone business, Nokia would've had a working OS for physical keypad devices as well.
Symbian^3 is planned ONLY with touch screen devices in mind. After a week of extensively using it, I still only have very little complaints (biggest being speaker positioning and 2nd being OVI store being slow compared to the rest of the phone, lack of optimization or so). I'm totally loving the N8 and I wouldnt trade it even if you gave me 10 Waves or 10 Galaxy S or 10 iPhones. If you gave me 10 of each I would consider taking em, selling em and buying brand new N8s for my friends and family :D
I totally recommend the N8 for everyone who can see themselves using more than just the browser, the hardware features are really awesome. Just about everything is really awesome. Symbian isn't the prettiest but as long as it gets the job done I'm happy.
I still stand by my words that N8 is probably the most balanced smartphone out there. Has the least weaknesses compared to its strengths. And the weaknesses tend to be personal preference (usually related to not liking Symbians look or the way it operates, but I like it, so its not a straight out downside)

but the priority for bada is the speed so it some times sacrify multitask if the phone is going to give the ugly slow symbian experiance.

Could we please forget the Wave already, the Wave fan can go to Waves on page to praise it, we don't care around here.
I know it's abit lonely there with 21% daily interest and only having like 2,5 mil total hits. But we really dont wanna discuss about the Wave here.
It's a great device, but it cant offer me and many others what we want, thus we don't buy it. If it suits you, that's great. It's a wonderful device.

who cares abt cpu ? speed is every thing..
anderoid and iphone are flashed based. like u see on pc, in flash, higher graphics need more memory and processor. but symbian os is less animated which saves alot of time and battery, u dont hav to wait for animations like opening any app takes abt 1 sec of your life.
thts y, Nokia phones are at peak in speed. symbian os is C++ / java based os, which is much lighter than ios or anderoid. and dont need 1ghz processor. it windows on pc.
the best part of nokia since N95 is tht its web browser, that have flash support. symbian os dont use flash for extra animations and effects, but in web browsing and flash file playback.
other best thing is upnp, good for home media. none other phones hav these + many other features.
about 3D graphics, benchmark of nokia is higher. (many people dont believe it but its true) bcuz it supports flash / java midp / open gl / 3D acclerated GPU, where iphone / anderoid have only flash and open gl. which also needs more battery and cpu.
just for stability, these other phones comes with more cpu, if they had even 600 mhz processor, 256 ram..
they will be more laggy, slower. just bcus of flash and extra animations.
