Haa! I found "SIP options" (translated from finnish :D) from the phone. I don't get any of that, but theres an option to make SIP profiles.

I hope you can make some judgement out of that

    Hi Wheez/All,
What I understood, if swype is installed in N8, it will solve “Qwerty key board in portrait mode” problem. Is it correct?
In India shell their phole as “Made my Nokia”. My question is are there any doubt about the quality of those mobile with “Made in Finland/China etc.”?
    Tnanks.

Marvin, 05 Oct 2010Hi Mark, a lot of Symbian phones (N85, E70, E71, E90 and... moreI would check it myself but I don't really know how to check it or what exactly to look for, don't really have use for the feature myself.

Mark, 05 Oct 2010Symbian natively supports SIP protocols. No app required. Hi Mark,

a lot of Symbian phones (N85, E70, E71, E90 and many others) supported VoIP natively in the past.

But are you really sure that the N8 provides a native SIP stack? Even wheez who genuinely owns an N8 said that the N8 apparently doesn't have one...Well, I just hope the E7 will ship with a native VoIP client pre installed...

Mark, 05 Oct 2010Hi Wheez, How are the headphones and how fast is Opera! ... moreHeadphones are nice, but they are the type you put inside the ear canal, which I don't really like, but the sound is good and it has microphone so you can use it as a headset too. Also has buttons for play/pause, next/previous song, volume and accepting calls.

By seeing their app store i guess they might stop supporting Bada too in the near future ;)

[deleted post]Who the hell is "we" ? The Samsung propaganda brigade? Ill be honest with you:

I have little respect for Samsung as a company ( I love Korea though )
                          I hate their substandard service
I hate the lies they spread about pentile screen resolution. (Ars Technica settled that score)
I do not like that they send in masses of people to influence votes and ranking since they are not number 1.

                          For you:

I have NO respect for you, as you claim people that do not share your subjective opinion on Korean phones do not respect you. That is so terrible arrogant and self referencing, that its the type of malice that starts wars.

I have NO respect for you, if you "report" other peoples posts, just because it does not match your opinion.

And on top of that, if you feel that way, by all means leave and go dream about updates and service that Samsung will never give you in the Samsung threads. What are you doing here? Who are you trying to silence? What kind of person are you?

                          Leave.

Marvin, 05 Oct 2010Hi Wheez, I’ve been following your informative posts for... moreI don't really use that stuff myself but I think I read off another forum that it doesnt have that. As for VoIP, theres at least like Skype and Fring apps available on the OVI store.

I've posted so many messages in a short time that GSMArena is throwing the flood protection error at me again, so don't wonder if it takes a long time to answer.

I don't think Nokia has at least announced or planned publicily any phones that would rival the N8s camera. I think it will be like THE camera model from Nokia at least a year or so.

                                        Hi Wheez,

I’ve been following your informative posts for quite a while now and I really appreciate your patience and efforts!

Can you please verify whether the N8 has a native SIP client (stack) built-in? If it supports VoIP natively you should be able to modify settings under “Settings” and then “admin. Settings” (well at least that was the way it was down with previous Nokia phones that supported VoIP).

                                        Thanks and best regards,

                                        Marvin
