Can u do one final test for me -- fill the 16 gb... moreI'm sorry, I'm not going to test that, cos I have like exactly 2 gigabytes of music on my on computer/phone combined. My only internet connection atm is a wireless 3G USB dongle connection with max 1mbit in.
So no, I'm not gonna download 14 gigabytes with that connection just try this, sorry.
However I know someone who already filled their 16gb internal with music and while he do/say anything about your question as it is, but he didnt complain that performance wouldve gone down or anything.

[deleted post]People are currently saying Symbian sucks etc, without ever having used SYmbian^3, it's true that the S60 5th edition wasnt all that good, but this has just about nothing to do with that.
Windows Vista was bad, but Windows 7 is very good. It's the 100% same thing in here.

Wheez, 04 Oct 2010I dont know cos every N8 user I know have praised ovi maps ... moreBecause Google maps has WAY more coverage than OVI maps in India, can't say for others... and when the required area is not covered or if any required POI is not listed in OVI maps, google maps is the one to my rescue

[deleted post]He either has a faulty piece or is just trying to (amongst many others) bring Nokia and N8 down without ever trying to device.
I can assure u 100% that no one on the finnish forum I read and write on has mentioned downsides like that. Those are also like the biggest strenghts of the N8 so if someone would have something to complain about, it would be something totally else.
I'm not sure if he's just trolling or whether he has a faulty piece. There's a chance he got one of those 100€ chinese fakes that were around like 1 month before the N8 was released.

I took over 50 pictures with 12 mpix with lots of little detail (I needed to copy a book cos I had to return to) and the battery is still full.
I'm loving the batterylife

yea u r right i9000 is broad & bulkier than N8, but everybdy says go for android etc etc..so i gt cnfused & in android phone i think i9000 is best till now.
But its not handy & later i saw N8 so i thought why dn go for this, rite nw i m using N79.
The only prblm with symbian is its sluggy & hangs. i faced it most of the time in my phone so i was afraid for symbian but now i think N8 is good choice.
I hope :)

Joe, 04 Oct 2010Which is better I9000 or N8? i know both are very different... moreStay with the safe side and go for the popular Nokia (better support, known brand who's experienced in communications for years, feature-rich, aluminum body which is reliable, sell-able after a while say even after 2 or 3 years)
samsung sucks much at support.

Joe, 04 Oct 2010Which is better I9000 or N8? i know both are very different... morel9000 looks like a bit too fragile phone for daily use, wery slim casing is nice, but it's a downside also. Drop it once and it's gone. Nokia phones have always been pretty strong on that front. Android vs Symbian...depends much on do you want to experience pc bugs in your phone, or do you like to just use your reliable phone from day to day.
