The n8 has been available in the uk since 23 september! So stop tell lies kids, apps and game are also available to buy right now :-) but symbian^4 is out next year, so goodbye nokia, hello android :-)

In reply to all those saying this will still ship end of september , you are mistaken , i was one of the first to pre order and have been emailed by nokia to say i quote "For your maximum enjoyment of the N8, we had to move the delivery by a few weeks." that is fact not hearsay

If you would've preordered earlier, you might have gotten it next week, but I think it's late for that now, you're most likely gonna have to wait for the 2nd batch that the site says would be

There 2 main things I don't like about N8:
1. I understand that the N8's batt is non-removable type. The standby time specs indicate that it would be very difficult to make it last for 2 FULL days of moderate usage.
2. The call records have a lifetime of just 30 days. If the records get deleted after 30days even if there is space in the memory, then its bad :( I know this is very trivial. But, I use the call records as a temporary place to store some un-important numbers for a short duration.

is this phone out yet,i cant wait man. i live in usa and i want this phone so bad. i hav sidekick slide hip hop bad bad its nothing worse its wasting money. i paid $270 for this kick ass phone. i just wana kick him. its my first mistake. now im buying nokia n8.tell me whats price of this phone?

I bo... moreIf you'd follow the actual news, you might've realized that the shippings are still starting on schedule, just that the demand is exceeding supply so they won't have any spare for 3rd party retailers/non-preorderers at the first batch

Nokia lost my faith as it keeps changing release date. I bought iphone4 instead and I think it has much better OS than N97.
